STREET
Ollie - Jumping with your skateboard staying at the bottom of your feet
1) Place your back foot on the tail (just a little bit off the edge) and your front foot over the front deck bolt's.
2) Kick down hard on the tail with your back foot until it hits the ground then slide your front foot up the board to the front kick.
3) let the board level out in the air then land.
Kickflip - Making the board do a 360 revolution longways
1) Place your back foot on the tail with your heal hanging off the edge (the heal hangs off the edge so that when you kick down, then flip the board it will spin easily) and your front foot just off to the side of the front deck bolts (so your heal will be hanging off the edge)
2) Kick down on the tail and almost at the same time slide your front foot up, and off the front of the left side of the deck. Your board will now be in the motion of spinning.
3) Now bring your feet back over the board and when you see the grip tape push your feet down and catch the board.
4) Land the bitch and ride away!
TIP: When trying to learn Kickflip's most people find that they can land their back foot on the board but there front foot is miles away. Practice kicking down with your back foot then letting it slip off the back of the board onto the ground then kick out your front foot like in step (2) and only try to land your front foot on the board. Practice this heaps then try it the normal way again and you'll find that your much much closer to landing it!
Nollie- an ollie done while skating backwards.
1) Place the ball of your front foot on the tail, and your back foot straight across the center of the board.
2) At the same time, jump and shove down on the nose with your front foot.
3) As you enter the air, slide your back foot back up the board to level it out, and get it airborne. (this will take lots of practice)
4) Once you and your board are in the air, level out your board with your feet, and bend your knees for the landing.
5) Land ride outa there.

Impossible - making the board spin around your back foot, while the board and your foot remain in contact with each other.
1) This is a trick that you do not need to be rolling to do (see ollie impossible for the rolling version), but is more of a creative way of getting on your board. Set your board down, and put your back foot on the tailclose to the near side of the board, and the tail.
2) Lift up your foot, and slam it down on the exact spot that your foot was just in. (It will take practice to find the right spot and to hit the right spot).
3) The board will leave the ground, and kind of rotate your foot around to get the board to spin around on your foot.
4) As you are spinning, jump, and when the board hits the ground (wheels down), land on it.

Manuel - Rolling along balanced on your two back wheels.
The manuel is simple enough, but does take a lot of practice to perfect. But when you do perfect it, it's a rad trick to have up your sleve.
1) Roll at a decent pace.
2) Push down slowly but firmly as gentle as you can on the tail kick (so the kick doesnt scrape on the ground)
3) Try and stick it as long as you can without stacking, keeping enough weight on the top middle of the board to keep it up, but not so much that you push it back down.
4) You've basically got to balance as best you can as long as you can.
Keep doing this and when you perfect it, you can take it to ledges, tables and add tricks to it like kickflips and heelflips
GRINDS
50-50 - the 50-50 grind is when u grind on something with both of ur trucks.
1. Stand like u would in the ollie position, with ur front foot up about another inch. Approach the object u wish to grind parallel about an inch from it.
2. Ollie and concentrate on ur front truck landingfirst, followed quickly by ur back truck.
3. After u grind, pop ur tail a tiny bit and turn off the object.
4. Ride away.

2) Do an ollie. when the board reaches its full height, reach down and grab the board with the specific hand i mentioned at the top.
