Students for Safer Summers


Students’ for Safer Summers (SSS) is a program that is built on creating a safe and constructive environment for students. SSS offers a number of classes and activities available to students from ages 6-13. Each class and activity will be structured to fit the appropriate age bracket of each child. There are three age brackets within this program; bracket one is for 6,7, and year olds, bracket two is for 9,10, and 11 and bracket three is for 12 and 13 year olds. Some of the activities and classes that students will be participating in is; arts and crafts, academic classes, reading and bible lesson classes, devotion, as well as indoor and outdoor field activities. There will also be seminars teaching students the importance of internet and fire safety, crime prevention and the value of health and fitness. Along with inside classes and activities students will be taken on field trips outside of the building site in order to enhance and broaden their minds and perspectives on what they have learned in class. SSS is a program that allows students to have fun and educate them in an environment where they feel comfortable in. This program will start on June 19, 2006 and run until July 14, 2006 and meets Monday- Thursday.
