Saddleworth CAFE (Cancer Aid for Everyone)
Saddleworth CAFÉ (Cancer Aid for Everyone) is a support group for anybody affected by cancer, whether as a patient, carer or health care professional in the Saddleworth or surrounding areas.
We offer help and support from people who understand a diagnosis of cancer. We also offer counselling, various complimentary therapies, beauty therapy, a vast array of literature…. Oh, and a lovely cup of tea!! We are a very informal group who range in age from teenagers to …… well ….. people who were teenagers a long, long time ago!
We meet at Greenfield Methodist Church on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month 4pm to 6pm. If you would like more information please call Jane on 0161 626 9158 or Hazel on 0161 633 0162 or just turn up -you will be assured a very warm welcome.
We are also always on the look out for volunteers who can offer any complimentary therapies, beauty therapy etc to help us for 2 hours once a month - you’re skills will be very gratefully received by our members. Again, for more information please call Jane or Hazel on the numbers above.
