BIO MASTER P: MASTERP GREW UP IN NEW ORLEANS THIRD WARD CALIOPE PROJECTS (CP3) after his mother and father separated his mother moved to ricmound californa.master p decided to stay in new orleans and travel frequently to cali to spend time with his mum. remaing in new orleans p and his brothers were raised by paternal grand mother when p's grand father came into an inheritance, p was given 10 thousand dollars.master p took his money and opend an independent record store in richmound cali called no limit records after gaining first hand knowledge of the music industry as a retailer,p felt he had the bussines savvy to embark on his dream to become an entertainer as well as owning his own records company.Nolimit records the retail store soon became no limit, the record company the first relase master p the ghetos tryin to kill me sold over 100,000 units independently the second relase from master p EP 99 ways to die which went on to sell over 200.000 units also without major distributon.
After selling over a quarter of a millon records sevral of the major labels came to master p offering him a deal. weighing all his options, he decided to sign his company no limit,to a straghit pressing and distributon deal with priorty records. in order for me to stay true to myself and my company,i had to maintain full control says p.When the deal was solidfied with priorty in 1995 no limit relased TRU (made up of master p and his brothers sillk the shocker and c-murder) their album entiled TRU went on to sell over 400,000 units, while patenting the phrase and hit song BOUT IT BOUT IT!!!!!!!.
TRU continues to maintain a spot on the billboard r&b album chart. with a nationl distributon deal and over a millon records under the NO LIMIT BELT, master p went on to make musical history by executive produce the first rap complations, down south hustlers and west coast bad boys. Both records held fast on the billboard chart for sevral months.
In early 1997 master p relased the unprecedented success, master p presents west coast bad boys 2 the follow up complation dedicated to tupac shakur.with the debut of the prjects at number 2 on the bill board and r&b chart and number 8 on the billboard top 200 album chart,it was time to recognize NO LIMIT RECORDS. In the follwing weeks p relased TRU'S latest project TRU 2 DA GAME was rlaa certified gold and is now doubel platinum.
Aproaching the latter part o 1997 the muck anticipated solo album from the master him self entiled gheto dope. the album features apperances gold and platinum recording artists foxy brown TRU mystikal too short,E-40 and mia x to name a few. the album is deffintley a must have, unfogetabel tracks I MISS MY HOMIES, GANGSTAS NEED LOVE TO featring MECEDES . anothe acomplishment for master p.

C-MURDER GETS LIFE FOR MURDER:
A jury has found thaht rapper c-murder real name coray miller, will recive an automatic life sentece.
Millers family still stands by his claim of innocence and planed to appeal the verdict wich was later rejected.his father percy miller sr told reporters follwing the convicton,"my son didn't do that."
Miller was con victed of killing steve thomas acording to two prosecution witnesses miller reportedly beat and then shot Thomas outside of the platinum club in harvey louisiana on january 12,2002
Thomas was at the club participating in an MC battel, and an altercation broke out between him an miller, the defence brought up 7 witnnesses gave diffrent descrictions of what miller was wearing.

Ever since MASTER P discorvered him, michael tyler aka MYSTIKAL
has made a name for him self seving along side the other soldiers on no limit tank. Native of new orleans,mystikal had some real combat experince in the us army during operation desert storm. although mystikal was'nt on the front line he served as combat technician for the 8 months of his active duty.mystikals war experice had amplified his already rebellious atitude and had inspired him to write a song while in stockadeand paved the way for jive to sign him.
KANE AND ABEL:
Twin brothers kane and abel were born in New york and grew up in New orleans. by the time they were 10 they were already writing, rapping and performing.Ever since there idols LL cool j and Run-Dmc dominated the early rap scene, kane and abel knew there calling. they went on to hook up with MASTER P'S NO LIMIT RECORDS and they relased gold albums THE 7 SINS AND AM I MY BROTHERS KEEPER.
