Hello, my name is Margo Turnbull, and welcome to Rulett - situated in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, N.S.W., Australia - currently the home of healthy, sound, clever and very beautiful Portuguese Water Dogs - but, sadly, no more Great Danes after 25 years of loving the breed.
All my dogs, both past and present, are titled in both the Conformation and Obedience rings and many are also titled and/or working in Endurance, Agility, Herding, Canine Freestyle and Tracking at various times of the year.
I both owned and trained the first Great Dane in Australia to attain the Endurance Test title in 1997 and also the first, and only to date, Portuguese Water Dog to attain the Companion Dog Excellent title, in 2004.
 In March 2006 my PWD, Holly Dog, became the first Australian Bred Grand Champion PWD in the country and the first bitch to have been awarded this title.
In August 2006 Holly Dog became the first PWD to compete and qualify in the Endurance Test, a trial run over 20kms - this is her 5th title.
She is the highest titled show, obedience and working titled PWD in Australia so far.
In May 2006 I imported Hazard, a 4 year old, black, wavy bitch from Biley's Kennels in Sweden. She was mated prior to leaving to a Swedish Champion dog and she whelped 6 puppies on June 16th just one week out of quarantine.
These two bitches are the foundation stock of Rulett.
 I also bred, trained, trialled and showed the first male PWD in Australia to gain an Endurance Test title along with his Grand Champion title - Australian Grand Champion Rulett Set Thsails Foroz (IID) E.T. - Wombat.
All my breeding stock is Optigen tested, hip and elbow x-rayed and then scored by Dr. Bob Wyburn and ACES eye tested annually by an Opthalmologist. I also JDCM and GM1 gene test as required.
I am the past Chief Obedience Instructor, and still a current Obedience Instructor, of the Blue Mountains Dog Training Club Inc., a member of our State Body Dogs N.S.W., B.M.D.T.C. Inc. and the PWD Club of America.
I have also held the various Club positions of Vice President, Secretary, Rescue Officer, Trophy Steward, Publicity Officer and Committee Member of the Great Dane Club of N.S.W. Inc. over many years since joining in 1986, although I no longer currently breed or own Great Danes.
