Welcome to Yu-Gi-Oh GX. Genaration X! A generation in the future, in a land inaccessible to the rest of the world sits Duel Academy, the world's premier Dueling high school. This special boarding school educates promising young Duelists, helping them achieve their full potential. What no one yet knows is that one of the greatest Duelists of all time is about to arrive in the incoming class.
The students, based on a combination of Duelist rankings and exams, are seperated into three dorms. The most advanced students reside in Obelisk Blue. The second tier lives in Ra Yellow. The Duelists with the lowest grades live in Slifer Red. Class conflicts have existed for many years, with the higher-ranked students teasing their less-accomplished peers. However, with the Duel Academy's arrive of the newest student, the status quo is about to change!
JADEN YUKI
Jaden lives in the lowest-ranked Slifer Red dormitory because he gets bad grades, but he's out to prove that test scores aren't everything! His superior Dueling skills and incredible instinct are unlike anything the teachers have seen before, and he's ready to rock Duel Academy to its foundation!
SYRUS TRUESDALE
Jaden's roommate Syrus does something even Jaden can't do - he gets lower grades than Jaden! Though he's a decent Duelist, he doesn't believe in himself, so he often makes mistakes in the most crucial situations. It can't help that Syrus's older brother is Zane, the best student in the school. How can he live up to his brother's perfect standards? Maybe with Jaden's help, Syrus will trust himself and climb out of the cellar to show the world what a true Duelist he is!

The English version of the Ultra-Rare card "Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo-Daedalus" (from the upcoming Fury From the Deep Structure Deck) was unfortunately mis-printed.
The correct text of this card should be:
"This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing 1 "Levia-Dragon - Daedalus" on your side of the field. Send "Umi" on your side of the field to the Graveyard to send all cards in both players' hands and on the field to the Graveyard, except this card."
KONAMI regrets this error. A redemption program will be created for customers to get correctly printed versions of "Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo-Daedalus", not only through a mail-in offer but also at major Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME events.
