'Emmerdale' beauty Roxanne Pallett once saved her mum and grandmother when their house went up in flames.
The stunning actress, was at home with her family in Cumbria when the blaze broke out in the kitchen in the middle of the night.
The family were in bed when smoke started to fill the house - and only Roxanne was awake.
With no thought for her own safety, the 22-year-old leapt out of bed and ran to get her gran out of bed.
When she realised she was unconscious, Roxanne dragged her elderly relative to safety and then ran to alert her mum.
Roxanne is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying " There were flames and smoke everywhere - it was terrifying.
"I had to carry my gran downstairs through the smoke. It was so black I could barely see."
She added "By the time I'd got her out, my mum had become trapped. Luckily, fire-fighters saved her."
Fire chiefs later presented the actress with a bravery award for her courageous rescue.

As you know or may not know Roxanne used to be the lead singer in a Group called Urban Angles.
Then appeared in Hollyoaks.
Before moving onto A & E.
Now appearing in Emmerdale as vetinary receptionist Jo Stiles.
Appeared in Soapstar, Superstar where she managed to finish in forth place.
Tracks of some of the songs they sang are on an Album called Soapstar Superstar.
Roxanne has 2 tracks on it.
1. Crazy Chick.
2. What You're Made Of.
This track you can also hear now on main site, along with the one listed below.
Angel of Mine.
The one track that I play all the time and have it on repeat is "What You're Made Of" listen to the words and you will understand why.
It also brings out the huskiness of her voice and if this track was released by Roxanne as a single it would go to No1.
