148th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, Company C
The 148th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, Company C, the "Centre
County Regiment", was commanded by Capt. Robert M. Forster.
The Unit mustered in to service August 30, 1862.
Capt. Forster was killed at Gettysburg, PA, July 2, 1863...
The Unit musterd out of service at the end of the War between
the States on June 1, 1865.

Our Union Civil War Reenactment Unit is made of Soldier,Civilian, Medical, and Chaplin impressions.
We are members of the USV.
The Unit is family oriented.
The reenactors are from Central Pennsylvania with some folks hailing from other parts of PA.
