Basic Notary Fees:
$10.00 per notarized signature. This fee is set by the California Secretary of State.
Travel Fees vary depending on mileage
Average fee: $20.00- $30.00 (add $1.00 over $20.00 for every mile added)
AUTHORIZED NOTARIAL DUTIES:
Acknowledgment - (basically used to certify the identity of the document signer, often used for documents such as deeds and power of attorneys) $10.00
Oaths - (basically used to certify that the signer has sworn that the document contents are true, often used for documents such as affidavits and certified copies of documents) $10.00
For notarizing a single set of loan documents and performing associated duties as a loan signing agent $85.00
Additional set of loan documents and associated duties as a loan signing agent during the same appointment (often a second mortgage or equity line of credit) $50.00
For providing a prepared form that must be attached to a document that does not contain proper notarial wording or does not contain notarial wording suitable for use in California, when used in the course of performing a notarial act NO CHARGE
Documents I CAN NOT process include:
Incomplete documents, documents signed outside of my presence, Birth Certificates, Death or Marriage records, Photographs, faxed or copied signatures & copies of documents (Except Power of Attorney).
