Hi, welcome and thanks for stopping by. We live in Rock Hill, SC, about 20 miles south of Charlotte, NC - "NASCAR COUNTRY"
My wife and I live in a log cabin we had built about 1 1/2 years ago. Our daughter, April, lives close by and rents our old home from us. Our son, Jonathan, also lives in Rock Hill near Winthrop College; And our oldest son, Eric, lives with his wife, Anne, about 12 miles up the road near Clover, SC. My daughter, Scotia, is a CWO2 in the US Army and is based near Tampa, FL.
I work for a large carbon manufactuer and travel the Southeast. Lisa retired a couple of years ago but loves to travel. Our recent trips included London, England, Chicago, IL, Washington, DC, Las Vegas, NV and 2 Caribbean cruises. Our next trip will be to New York City over Christmas.
My interests include: Restoring and collecting old tube type radios, collecting 50's and 60's 45 Rpm and 33 1/3 Rock & Roll. (Elvis, Buddy Holly, Beatles, Dylan, etc.)
My newest interest is my 2005 Mustang Coupe. I love this car!! I used to own some muscle cars back in the 60's and 70's and my last was a 1970 BOSS Mustang. As far I was concerned, the Muscle car was all but dead and nothing really turned me on until, during the Super Bowl, Ford had Steve McQueen driving a new Mustang! Got my blood boiling and had to go out and buy one. This car is so much fun to drive and I feel 18 again, WOW!!
