The Lord would want us to run the race for Him
"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us" Hebrews 12:1
The fact that you can even run is enough for praises, and every step you put in front of the other is advancing you towards God's will for you.
"Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race" 1 Corinthians 9:24
"Know ye not that they which run in a race run all; but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain" Psalms 19:5
God still is in the answering of prayers business. He's not afraid of your questions. God is not insecured in His sovereignty, His position or His Power. He's not envious of man or afraid that His position, power, or authority is going to be jeopardized by you or anybody else knowing too much.
He says ask of Him who giveth freely as He wills. James 1:5
God says when you've searched for Him with your whole heart (your entire being), then you will find Him.
"Knock and the door shall be opened, seek and you shall find."
If we are serious about hearing from God, we're going to have to exercise the kind of faith that is strong and persistant.
When you are confused, your mind is perplexed, your heart is troubled, and you don't know what in the world to do.
"Come to me and ask Me" lay all the cards down on the table.
"I am able," says God, "to share with you the kind of truth that transforms"
