"It's All About Love"

Hello everyone, happy to have you here today. Let us pray, "Father in Jesus name we come to You today asking that You reveal to us from Your Word, "Truth." Lord we ask Your forgiveness for all the things we do that is not according to Your Word. Grant us strength to overcome our shortcomings in these areas. Amen."

In the words of Jesus, "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; even as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." John 13:34,35.

Jesus came to take back the things that Adam had given away, by his disobedience to God in the Garden of Eden. He took that back, by His sacrifice on the cross. And He gave that authority to us as believers in Him. And He set forth a new covenant by His death on the cross.
When Jesus came and gave us this new covenant, He gave us two things that pretty much cover all the things in the other covenants. And these two things were to love God with all your heart... and to love one another.

If you go back and look at the ten commandments you'll see that if you love your neighbor and love God the way you are suppose to love them, then you cannot steal from them, you can't kill them, you can't commit adultery, and on and on. All the stuff that was covered in the old covenant.

Jesus tells us that if we love one another, that's how men will know we are His disciples. Loving an unlovable person is a pretty tough thing to do, we can all agree with that. But that is not something that is giving us here as an exception, we are suppose to love the unlovable, even love our enemies, pray for them, and that is a tough thing, it really is.

It is for anyone who is a human being, but we have no choice. If we are to follow Jesus, if we are going to be like Jesus, and there are a lot of folks saying, I am living my life just like Jesus wanted me too, well if you are doing that you have to be loving your brother and your family.

Love Bears all Things, Love Believes all Things, Love Hopes all Things, Love Endures all Things.... And that is "All Things" and finally it says Love never Fails.
get on our kneesSomehow, we have to , before the Lord, and get the love of God in us. That's something we cannot do on our own. Love was not born in us. We were born under sin nature and we were reborn when we believed in Jesus. We have a recreated spirit, the Holy Spirit comes in and recreates our spirits and lives. His love is in there and His love will direct our love.

"Father of Heaven I ask you now to forgive us, for not being lovable. Lord, forgive us, for not showing love to our loved ones as we should. Lord we know that when we walk in love, we walk hand in hand with You because You are the Perfect Love. You are where Love comes from, perfect us Lord we pray, In Jesus name. Amen."
