EXAMPLE: Let's say IBM is traded @ 100 dollars a share (Last traded price). With 2 points margin ($2 dollars) you are margin down to *98.25. As long as the stock doesn't pull back downn to 98.25 your investment or wager is safe. If it should decline down to to 98.25 you will be "sold out" automatically and your $2 dollars margin would be lost.
Notes: (*) 25 cents are earmark as a fees per-shares on a trade.
