Continued from page #1...Date 02/04/99

top of my head..Have an appointment in may for a checkup on the cancer but if the find a malignancy they will notify me earlier..My friend Dave went with me to help with the driving... Had blood drawn at the lab to see how my body is reacting to the G-Tube.. and had my hearing aides tested.. still working fine, By the way the lotion is working OK now???

Just found out I have another appointment February 23rd at 2:pm at ENT to see a Dermatologist Specialist.. This don't sound good about the growth on my ear.. Will let you know what I find out...
Back 11/03/00... The groth was malignant and removed, the Dr did a good job you can't tell he even where he cut...

On 10/30/00 I recieved another round of Botox shots for my speech and jaw movement, My Son is getting married on the 18th of November 2000 and I want to be able to toast him at the reseption....

02/23/99 Well back from Albq. they said the growth on my right ear was malignant so I have to go back March 9th to have it removed.. Hopefully it's not too deep and they caught it early.. But the Dr said you never know about melanoma and will not know until they start cutting... Goodness "What Next".

Went to Albq. March 9th for the removal of the melanoma.. The Dr. did a great job and said he is 99% sure that he got all the cancer out... Have to go back on the 15th, probably to have the stitches removed..

Yep, was right had stitches removed on the 15th... now they want me back on the 23rd of March to see if there is any infection..
03/23/99 Yep, the Dr. checked my ear and said they got all the cancer out and all looks good... even able to wear hearingaides wants to see mr again on July 13th 99... Nice weather all the way to Alb. and back...
Got a call the 30th of March that they want me back at Albq.VAMC to get 8 (Botox) shots.. That helps with my speech and jaw tremmors for my Dystonia... also the VA has finally aproved me for 100% disability so now maybe I can get my bills paid off...
It's May 8th and will be going to Albq. on the 17th 18th and return on the 19th.. Have to see the Dermatologist, and Dietititian also hope to talk with the Nurolologist about my shots... they aren't working out so good this time.
Back from Albq. They found another bump and took a slice to check it for melanoma...This is in the same area wher I had a large mole removed off my chin in Durango 1994.. Hope it's benign bacuse I had to have plastic surgery, also couldn't see the Nurologist about the shots not working, I had to make an appointment in June.. Will be going to Farmington Clinic tomorrow to meet my new Primary Dr. I need to talk with him about what is going on.. also I need to have some dental work done, hopefully I can have it done in Durango..
Well went to the Farmington clinic and still don't have a Primary Doctor, Fustrating to say the least...Also they told me I have to go to Albq. for my dental work... Today is June 23rd. I have to leave for Albq. tomorrow for a dental apointment, Occupational Therapy what ever that is? and will talk to Dr. Lee about why my Botoxin shots didn't work at all??? On the 25th 1999 Also will see my Nutrtionist to check the g-tube and take vitals, my weight has stayed around 150lbs "That is good"....Will be heading back to Durango on Saturday the 26th..
Today is July 10th 1999.. Sorry I took so long to bring this up to date but I been kind of down lately... Back on the 25th of June I found out my Dr that gives me my Botox shots will be leaveing Albq. VAMC...
However did Have a good time on the 4th of July.. Went to Silverton and was one of the Honor Guard to dedicate a new war dead memorial, also represented the Disabled American Veterans in the largest parade Silverton has had in years... Am planing on transfering to the Silverton American Legion Post and become a Life Member....

Going to Albq again July 12th 13th and head back to Durango on the 14th... I have to get another hearing test and Have a cancer chekup...
