Dan got us rolling...he did a great job covering, "It Had To Be You", "Always On My Mind", "After The loving", and "Strangers In The Night"...thanks for keeping the classics alive Dan! Tess rolled in, it was great to see her Halloween night in Aurora, and back here at Relax tonight! Tes rocked out to, ""Bitch", "Black Horse And A Cherry Tree", "Sweet Child Of Mine", "The First Cut Is The Deepest", and, "Criminal"...sweet!
Jack and Darlene where in the house, rocking, and rolling as usual! Darlene did, "I Hate Myself For Loving You", "I Love Rock And Roll", "Son Of A Preacher Man", "Respect", "We Built This City", "Kiss Me Deadly", and then joined Dan on, "You Don't Bring Me Flowers". Jack sang some smoking tunes, including, "The Breeze", "Aqua Lung", "Smokin' In The Boys Room", "Johnny B Good", and then joined Darlene on, "If I Close my Eyes For Ever", and, "California Dreaming".
Bonnie brought her sweet voice to the mic to share, "Black Velvet", "Down To My Last", and then joined me on, "Picture". It was great to have Bonnie out tonight, and even more fun to sing with her.
Al rocked the blues, doing, "Roadhouse Blues", and then finished with, "Under The Bridge...smoking! Patrick got us all laughing with, "Because I Got High", while Suzane did, "Angry Johnny", "Do You Think I'm Sexy", and, "You Know".
Jacob did a few nice renditions, including, "I Would Walk 500 Miles", and, "Drive". Ray, our own plucky host, covered, "My Girl Bill", "Octopus' Garden", and, joined April on, "Why Don't We Get Drunk And Screw". Cala and her crew covered, "Stray Cats", then rocked out to, "Crocadile Rock" with Rocco, and, Timmy.
Jim did, "Stairway To Heaven", " I Walk The Line", and then covered, "No Rain" with Katie". Katie and April did a super cover of, "Gangstas Paradise", and "Bad Touch" with Tiffany, and April.
Brad got together with a number of his friends, singing, "New Found Glory", "What's My Age Again", "Sugar We're Going Down Swinging",
"Longview", "Clothes Off", and, "What's Up"...joining him on selected tunes were, Tiffany, April, Pat, Katie, and Mike.
Tiffany did duets with, "Under My Thumb", "Proud Mary", and, "Hangin By A Moment"...thanks to Bill, and Pat for joining her. Our group got together to do the classic, "Bohemian Rhapsody"...shouts to Jim, Tiffany, Bill, Pat, April, Katie, and Brad for taking us home on this great Queen song!

Thanks to my buddy from Ernie's, Jamie for making the drive out to the City with me. Jamie had a great time, and is looking forward to returning with me in a few weeks.

Simply Ray, our host, did, "My Girl Bill", "Octopus' Garden", and, "you've Got To Hide Your Love Away"...nice job Ray. Speaking of "Ray", our patron, and good football buddy, Ray was out to sing tonight. Ray sang, "Can't Help Falling In Love With You", "Aqua Lung", and, "Cat's in The Cradle".
Bonnie returned to share her sweet voice. She covered, "Stand By Your Man", "Knowing You, Knowing Me", "Love Is A Battlefield", "You Better Run", "Stranded", "Black velvet", and went on to sing,
"Picture" with me, and, "California Dreaming" with Jack...smokin'!
Dave covered, "People Are Strange", while Katie and, Maggie did, "Don't Speak", and Alex, and, Megh rocked out to, "The Time Warp".
Len joined his singing pal Bonnie for a few drinks, and some tunes. It was great to meet Len. He has a good voice, and covered some great songs, including, "Whole Lotta Rosie", "Highway To Hell", "I Love This Bar", "Dity Deeds", and, "You Shook Me All Night Long", thanks for stopping by Len!
I had the chance to rock some blues, and got a kick out of trying on some new songs of my own. Jack, and Darlene were in really fine voice tonight. "Betty Davis Eyes", then dueted with Jack on, "Stop Dragging My Heart Around", "Paradise By The Dashboard Light", and, "If I Close My Eyes Forever".
A BIG thanks goes out to Mongo for setting my gear up for me, and a shout to Alicia, who kept our glasses ful, as we took advantage of the Cherry Bomb drink special tonight. Hey, feeling hungry? DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO "RELAX ON MILWAUKEE"...... From Aurora, take I-88 to Chicago past the second toll. Look for 294 to Milwaukee/O'Hare. Go north on I-294 towards, O'Hare airport. Take it to the I-90/94 exit to Chicago,(Kennedy Expressway). Take the Kennedy to Kimball (just before the epress lane split), exit onto Kimball heading to the right. Stay on Kimball until you reach Milwaukee Ave. (about 2 major lights). Turn right on Milwaukee Ave.(go about two to three blocks on Milwaukee). The bar is on the right side of the street @ 2937, it has a maroon colored awning, with white lettering. Parking is available on the street. Average travel time is approx. 45 min to an hour in good traffic.
