Hailey was out to sing, and celebrate her birthday that is this Sunday. Hailey is a fine singer, and seems to really enjoy entertaining us with her voice. Hailey sang, "Spiderwebs", "It's All Coming Back To Me Now", "Call Me When You're Sober", and, "Total Eclipse Of The Heart"...smoking! Sarah sang, "My Own Worst Enemy", and Morgan covered, "Before He Cheats".
Sweet Bonnie joined us, and she did a great selection of tunes. Bonnie lent her great voice to, "I Will Always Love You", "Hazy Shade Of Winter", "Harden My Heart", and joined me on, "Cruisin". Nicely done Bonnie! Amy and Holly joined voices on, "Close My Eyes Forever", Jason rocked out to, "Flagpole Sitter", and, Austin covered, "Chop Suey".
Kati grabbed the mic to do, "Bitch", while Lisbett sang, "La Bamba", and, "Que Sera, Sera", excellent! Rachael did a really nice job on, "Jolene", and, Patsy Clines, "Crazy". Rueben came to the stage to do, "Short Skirt And A Long Jacket", and, "Werewolves Of London".
Max did, "War Pigs", and Hugo did, "The Way",and, "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You".
Cully was in fine voice tonight, doing, "All The Small Things",
"It's Not Unusual", "Bad Moon Rising", and, "Space Oddity". Our host, Ray, sang, "Octopus' Garden", and then joined Juliana on,
"You're The One That I Want", and Megan on, "Jackson". Frank did two
tunes, "I Want It That Way", and, "Don't Look Back In Anger".
Dan, and Tiffany were here early, and it was great to see them both!
Dan did, "Bad Moon Rising", "Money For Nothing", and "Piano Man". Tiffany did, "Love Shack" with Dan, and then joined Heather on, "Summer Nights". Layal joined Juliana singing, "Don't Stop Believing", and Megan did "Lola" with Emily, and, "Changes" with Margot, and, Emily.
What fun, thanks for a great time! Oh yes, let's not forget to thank Alicia behind the bar, Mongo at the door, and Ray for setting up a very entertaining night! I Look forward to seeing you all in two weeks!

Wierd, freakie, fun! Singers, and swingers? This was definately the ummm, most interesting night I have had at Relax! The local swingers club decided to join us this evening, and added their own brand of humor to the night.
Bonnie rolled in, always good to see her, and entertained us with her great song selections. Bonnie performed, "My Boy Lollipop",
"Goodbye To You", "Under The Boardwalk", then did, "Oh Darlin" with Ray, and joined me on, "Picture", and "Cruisin"...thanks Bonnie.
Ray sang, "My Girl, Bill", and "Octopus' Garden". Fran and the girls giggled their way through, "Before He Cheats", and Tom did, "Baby I Need Your Loving". Alex did his usual great job on, "The KKK Took My Baby Away", and, "Bohemian Rhapsody".
Camille wowed the crowd by doing, "Dancing Queen", "White Rabbit", and, "Heard It Through The Grapvine". Carrie brought her friends to the stage to perform, "Wild Thing", and Erin, and Joey did,
"Gangstas Paradise".
Stacey "Walk Like An Egyptian", while Van did, "Mack The Knife", "Beyond The Sea", and joined, SMN on, "You've Lost That Loving Feeling". Dan and Tiff joined the fun. Dan sang, "Bad Moon Rising", "I've Just Seen A Face", ""Walk Of Life", and, "Psycho Killer"...excellent. Frank rocked the mic tonight. He covered,
"Don't Look Back In Anger", "Sufferagette City", "It's Not Unusual",
"YMCA", and joined Alex on, "Monster Mash" : )
Miz did a really fine job on her selections! She sang, "Soak Up The Sun", "Killing me Softly", "He Wasn't Man Enough", Jumpin", then had Sirel join her on "Summer Nights", and her girls doubled up with her on, "Lady Marmalade". Bill got us going with his great performance on, "Eye Of The Tiger", and, "Let's Stand Together".
Hey, did you know that Ray's second anniversary has just passed???? How about showing him how much we appreciate how he runs his business by coming out regularly for his special nights

Too bad if you did. He's a great entertainer, and is always in fine voice. He has been well recieved by the crowd at Relax because of his bawdy songs, and great sense of humor. You can catch him on the first Sunday of the month, starting around 6pm(give or take an hour!).

Beatles Sundays, every Sunday, Beatles music all day, along with specially priced Bloody Mary's...have 'em spicey!
Saturday June 6th, Ray will be showcasing a traditional Klezmer Band. Klezmer is music from the soul, the roots of Jewish folk music. This band will have about 15 pieces, and will perform not only traditional music, but some excellent Beatles music as well!
CHICAGO WHITE SOX BASEBALL...... Relax will be planning a number of activities, and outings when this season. If You missed it, our Elvis Night bar trip to Comisky Park was a blast...shuttle bus with a loaded bar, costumes, wierd hats, great friends, and, White Sox baseball!

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO "RELAX ON MILWAUKEE"...... From Aurora, take I-88 to Chicago past the second toll. Look for 294 to Milwaukee/O'Hare. Go north on I-294 towards, O'Hare airport. Take it to the I-90/94 exit to Chicago,(Kennedy Expressway). Take the Kennedy to Kimball (just before the epress lane split), exit onto Kimball heading to the right. Stay on Kimball until you reach Milwaukee Ave. (about 2 major lights). Turn right on Milwaukee Ave.(go about two to three blocks on Milwaukee). The bar is on the right side of the street @ 2937, it has a maroon colored awning, with white lettering. Parking is available on the street. Average travel time is approx. 45 min to an hour in good traffic.
