The Montgomery Family
Have you ever lived in a house were there are 11 other people living with you? This is what come about for one family of 6 that adopted 5 other children. Mr.Richard & Diane Montgomery had four children of their own when they adopted 5 children that belonged to Richard's sister. "There was no other choice" said Richard "The state family health services were going to split up the kids, and send them to diffrent homes,where we may never have been able to see them again." The childrens ages are as follows:13,12,10,5,4. Can you imagine the bills that the Montgomery Family have with that many people in the same house. They get assistance from the state, But it only covers a small percent of the monthly bills. Richard and Diane have to work very hard to keep their heads above water and keep the bills payed. The local newspaper even wrote a story about the family to have their story heard, so if you want to hear more of this story stay on this site.
