My booklet, "How to Inspect a Used Vehicle (and not take home a lemon)" offers the used car shopper a step by step inspection procedure and a worksheet to estimate the value of the vehicle. It will instruct you on how to systematically look over the vehicle, pointing out what to look for and what to stay away from. Using the results of the inspection and road test to make an estimated value of the vehicle to compare with the asking price and make a counter offer or look for something else.
It was developed by an "ASE" certified master technician with over 30 years experience. Including nearly 20 years working in GM and Chrysler dealerships where his duties included inspecting vehicles taken in on trade.
It was written with the layperson in mind, giving tips and advice aquired over the years, to help you make a purchase that you will be happy with for (hopefully) many years.
