1. Requirements To Receive Credentials:
A. Born again, of the water and of the Spirit Jn:3:5 With a written testimony of your experiences with God.
B. Comply with scriptural requirements of 1 Timothy 3.
C. Be actively engaged in a specific ministry:
a. Able Worker’s certificate- ministry of Helps and Para-church ministries
(1 Cor, 12:27-28).
b. Ministry License-Probationary or part-time ministry, in the office of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher (Eph. 4:11).
c. Ordination- Full-time pastoral or evangelistic work.
(1) After being Licensed a minimum of one year, or
(2) Transferred from another organization, and
(3) Show evidence of fruit of your ministry and a need for ordination.
D. Be currently involved in or immediately entering into a definable ministry of greater responsibility that which is expected of all members of the Body of Christ, and provide a written description of your ministry.
E. Be examined and approved by a area representative or an elder of the Fellowship.
2 Purpose: To provide legal and spiritual recognition of the calling and ministry God has already placed upon an individual and to assist in the fulfillment of that ministry
3. Benefits:
A. Enables performance of legal ceremonies, weddings and funerals
(with ministry license or ordination).
B. Provides access to jails, prisons, hospitals, nursing homes, psychiatric centers, and other institutions with restricted entry.
C. Furnishes channels of ministry outreach.
D. Provides ministry problem mediation, by the members and officers.
E. Furnishes pulpit supply or other short term or long term ministry.
F. Provides district meetings, conferences and seminars.
G. Supplies field representatives and elders to assist you.
H. Introduces missionary, pastor and teaching situations.
I. Provides an information clearinghouse for things of interest to ministers.
J. Provides additional training seminars and opportunities.
K. Provides a basis of fellowship with like-minded ministers and ministries.
L. Sponsors annual and periodic convocation gathering of all the fellowship.
M. Provides a connectional system of affiliated ministries for common benefits.
4. Methods:
A. Obtain and complete the application form. Be sure to include full addresses of references, a
Personal photograph, non-refundable application fee, testimony, and description of your ministry
B. Contact the area representative’s closet to you, if known, for a personal interview.
C. Forward the application to Power of Love Ministries Inc. or your area representatives.
D. The credentials committee will make inquiry of references, examine applicant’s reputation, effectiveness in ministry, loyalty and relationship to the local church, and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
E. You will be notified by the home office or your area representatives of the disposition of your application.
