About The Geraci's Gospel Hoedowners

Phil and Gloria Geraci were the owners of a biker beer & wine bar in Hawthorne, Florida.One night at a poker run at the bar,
they did a set with the band.
Phil found out that Gloria could write songs and sing,
and she found he could play keyboard.
So they shut the bar down and decided to devote their lives to music. Phil and Gloria were led by the strange sound in Phil's head and a love of mountain music.
They played together every chance until they were ready to take on the world.
Their first gig was at the park in Hawthorne, FL on Thanksgiving Day for "Feed the Needy. They were shocked at the response from the crowd.
The crowd could not believe Phil's energetic playing style and Gloria's heavenly vocals. The local station put it on TV that night and called it Progressive Bluegrass.
Phil and Gloria began making tapes of their performances to give out at their concerts.
Before long folks were lining up to get their copies of the tapes signed!
Their friend and owner of the Jesus is Love Bookstore began selling these wonderful tapes all over the world - France, England, Canada, India, Africa, Ohio, Kentucky, New York, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.Now Phil and Gloria . are the stars of "The Gospel Hoedown"
