TEXAS REAL DAD CALENDAR COMPETITION
Purpose
The Real Dad Calendar Competition is an event for Dads to have the spotlight and to be recognized for their hardwork, dedication to the family and also chances to win some cool prizes and awards. We would like for Real Dad contestants to have fun and enjoy the evening; we want Real Dad contestants to be proud to be a Dad and feel special for being nominated by someone who thinks they are the best Dad, regardless.......
An evening of honoring our Dad is long over due!! So lets get him nominated to be among other great Dads competeing to be selected for the Texas "2004 Real Dad Calendar" and the Texas Real Dad Title!!!
About The Contest
IS YOUR DAD CARING, HANDSOME, AND SMART? DOES HE LIKE TO HAVE FUN? WOULD YOU LIKE FOR YOUR DAD TO HAVE FUN AND WIN SOME REALY COOL PRIZES?
THEN ENTER HIM INTO THE REAL DAD CALENDAR COMPETITION. JUST SEND A PHOTO OF YOUR DAD, NO LARGER THAN A 5X7, HIS NAME, YOUR NAME AND HOW YOU MAY BE CONTACTED ON THE BACK OF THE PHOTO TO: PO BOX 143231, AUSTIN, TEXAS 78714-3231, ALONG WITH A $10 INITIAL INTEREST FEE; POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN 5PM ON SEPTEMBER 15, 2003.
**COMPETITION CATEGORIES
Casual Wear
Casual wear will consist of pants/shorts with a pullover/button down shirt. This attire, you can wear a tie if you choose. You wear what you consider to be casual to you!! There is not a wrong or right attire, it is YOUR CASUAL attire!!
Night/Evening Wear
Night/Evening wear will consist of bedtime attire. From pajamas to boxers to robes with slippers. This category you must wear some type of evening wear. You wear what you would wear to bed (not in bed), there is no wrong or right attire it is YOUR ATTIRE.
Formal Wear
Formal Wear will consist of pants, shirt, tie and JACKET! All formal wear attire must include a jacket.
Additional Awards
In addition to the 3 categories, judges will be giving points to contestants for OVERALL MR. Real Dad, 1st runner-up, 2nd runner-up, MOST Handsome, MOST Photogenic, BEST Dressed. And one award Mr. Debonair, will be awarded to the contestant, voted for by the other contestants. Winners will receive medallions, plaques, trophies, prizes, money and "12" contestants will appear in the "2004 REAL DAD CALENDAR".
Those 12 will be selected based on the highest points at the end of the competition. All contestants will receive gifts for their participation in the RDCC.
**All categories excluding Night/Evening Wear must include footwear. You can include headgear/props at any point during the competition. The contest is designed for the contestant and the audience to have fun. Relax, Smile and soak in the entertainment.
ALL REAL DAD CONTESTANTS WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO COMPETE FOR A SPOT IN THE REAL DAD 2004 CALENDAR AND OTHER AWARDS AND PRIZES. NO ONE WILL GO HOME EMPTY HANDED!!! HURRY!! GET YOUR INTIAL INTEREST FEE AND PHOTO OF YOUR DAD IN TODAY!!
THE COMPETITION WILL BE HELD IN MID NOVEMBER, AT THE AUSTIN HILTON HOTEL, ON MIDDLE FISKVILLE ROAD. STAY POSTED TO THE REAL DAD WEBSITE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.
