RAIL VERMONT mRR
The Rail Vermont mRR connects the cities of Rutland, Vt. and Bellows Falls, Vt with the freight agent and the operations offices at the River Street bridge in Rutland.
We operate as a bridge line connecting the Vermont Railway and the New England Central RR serving Vermont industries located ajacent to our railroad. Industries served are a concrete batch plant, beverage distributer, lumber dealers, talc plant, and fuel terminal plus a trailer ramp at Bellows Falls.
Locomotives are S2 #101, RS1 #406, RS3 #165, RS3 #166, and RS11 #167.
Locomotives stored are GE 44T #44, East Fork & Indian Head RR, SW8 #1027 EF&IH, GP9 #803 Tidewater RR, and Pacific Coast Shay #28 E&J Navigation Co.
