Steve Stamps #83 East-Coast Rookie
Steve Stamps is Married a devoted father of 3 who is making his East-Coast debut in the street modified class at Delaware International Speedway this year.Steve began racing in 1991 after serving 4 years in the Air Force at Dover Air Force Base.He served in the first Gulf War and returned home after his 1st term in the Military ended.He started in the street stock class at Tri-State Speedway in Ft.Smith AR.And won Rookie of the year.In 1992 he moved to the Grand National or(street modified)class where he finish 9th in the point standing.In 1993 after racing only 7races he relocated to Delaware to start a career at UPS.He is a UPS DRIVER OUT OF HARRINGTON.De.With 11ys of service.Since that time he has been racing 3or4times a year in the Midwest during his vacations with his family in Oklahoma.Steve has been racing in the IMCA Modifified class 3-4 times a year for the last 2seasons in Ft.Smith AR.At TriState Speedway.Racing has been a passion that he has not been able to let go of.So come on over to Delaware International Speedway and cheer this rookie on.He also has t-shirts for sale.
