As the creator of The 'Expatriat' Legacy series of books, with such thrillers as Conspiracy of Eagles, Jericho Light, and Rabinski's Tear, Ken has recently changed his writing style completly by creating a brilliant story about a priest on a trampship who, with his dreams of 'live' church parishes aboard ships, tackles multinational and multicultural differences in a remarkable and humrous way. 'The Seapriest Greaser' can only increase his growing popularity especially among the expatriate community.
After an adventurous life at sea, climbing mountains and in business as an international broker, Ken Dixon is well equipped to write thrillers, with terrorism as his theme, but when a heart problem restricted his movements, he decided to write 'Cardiac Road' too, recounting his experiences to help other victims of the disease.
Educated in Liverpool, at Bootle and Liverpool Technical Colleges, and later in Southamton to gain Board of Trade qualifications, he served in the Royal and Merchant Navies for 25 years, and now lives alone near the sea in Emsworth, England.
Long before Ken Dixon wrote his first book, he knew he was going to create a series, with one main character and with a continuing storyline. The 'Expatriat' Legacy became that series. It is spelt without an 'e' for two reasons, 'Expatriat' happens to be the name of Harry Blakes boat, which becomes a 'surveillance' style Hospitality vessel for the Diplomatic Service. The other reason for the word, is to attract other expatriates to the authors work.
The main character of the series is Harry Blake, an Englishman who, like Ken himself, is an expatriat-e. With a small group of friends operating the boat in Middle Eastern waters, they wine and dine businessmen, dignitaries, politicians, and statesmen, while attempting to extract information from them relating to terrorist groups, their targets and their hideouts. The stories are endless.
