Pulte homes knowingly promotes behaviour that exploits the customer in a malicious way. Pulte sales staff has one objective. Sell you the worst possible house at the highest possible cost with a screw you attitude. Take a drive through their subdivision and see how many illegals are working out there. That should tell you something about what you are potentially going to purchase as your largest single investment.
Don't be fooled by a JD Power Award that means nothing unless you can live inside an award. Do your research, be a smart buyer, ask yourself why the consumer response is so negative, look at the public lawsuits currently pending against Pulte. And, never sign a contract that requires mandatory binding arbitration unless you are ready to get exploited and screwed by the builder since that is why its in the contract. Ask them to delete that clause and see how fast you don't get a contract.
