The Covert Diner is the first anonymous food and restaurant critic for the burgeoning MS Gulf Coast dining scene. As the name implies the identity of the Covert Diner will be maintained as a secret from all readers and, most importantly, restaurant personnel. This anonymity will free the Covert diner from having the dining experiences of which she/he writes influenced by outside factors. The Covert Diner will experience a restaurant as any other customer. The Covert Diner's pledge is to seek out and acknowledge quality food and dining experiences that offer true value to the public. The opinions expressed here are those of the Covert Diner alone and will never be influenced by personal or professional relationships or advertising concerns. To the readers, I urge you to offer your opinions both positive and negative about that which I am attempting. The Covert Diner can be reached via E-mail or the message board below. Only through constructive discussion can the restaurant community learn what is desired by the public of the MS Gulf Coast.
The Covert Diner, like any customer, truly wants to enjoy each and every dining experience. To the Restauranteurs, I say this, "my criticism is offered constructively and without malice to afford you an insight to the desires of the dining public. Please take this in the spirit in which it is intended. If you give your customers a quality product prepared in a creative manner by an accommodating staff at reasonable prices, you need never fear the Covert Diner.
