Prophetic Connections
To Our Readers: Thank you for your labor of love by receiving these messages and passing them on to others. As Paul said: Who then is Paul, and who is Apollo’s, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building. 1 Corinthians 3: 5-9

Poet's Corner
Empowered to Shun Evil
The devil is the liar
Who came and stole
So that we would be bound
And out of control.
But God came to free us
Through His Only Son
So that we would know truth
And live in the victory He won.

The Two Prodigal Sons
Luke 15: 11-32 Then He said: "A certain man had two sons. And the younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.' So he divided to them his livelihood. And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land and he began to be in want. Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything. But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”‘ And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.' But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' And they began to be merry. Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. And he said to him, 'Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.' But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. So he answered and said to his father, 'Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat that I might make merry with my friends. But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots; you killed the fatted calf for him. And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found."
Note: Part Three
The older son thought because he never left his father that he was better then his younger brother. This is what religion does to people, they think because they always go to church and try to do the right thing that they never left God. We are all prodigals that need Jesus. The younger son represents those brought up in a religion but because their heart was far from God they made a decision to do their own thing and accomplish to fulfill their own desires and lusts. . It’s possible the desires of the world were manifesting in the heart of this younger brother for a while and his father was not dying fast enough and he wanted his inheritance now. This is like some people who want to live it up now while they are young but James tells us in James 4:13-14 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit"; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. God will sometimes give us what we want until we fall on our face of failure and discouragement and admit there has to be more then this. Both brothers were prodigals in their heart because it is the motive of our heart that manifests in what we do and who we really are. One brother left for false adventure and wind up eating food meant for the pigs. Moses knew the pleasure of sin for a season for it is written in Hebrews 11:25-26 He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time. He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. By the grace of God the younger brother came to his senses after he had a taste of the pig’s food and thought of his father servants that were eating better than him. Some people acknowledge God after they lived in the street and ate out of garbage dumps or are in relationships that are painful or hit an emotional bottom before they come to their senses. What ever it takes, it is worth it as long as they come to repentance knowing they can not do it alone and ask God to forgive them and put their trust in Jesus the one who died for the sins of the world. Jesus does not elaborate on the older brother who was religious. Just putting our faith in religion is so dangerous because living that way is us trying to reach God by what we do and who we think we are when there is no way to reach God except believe on His Son Jesus who took our sins and punishment upon Himself. Jesus said we must be born again in John 3:3. Whatever day you are in and if you are not saved please do not reject God’s grace which means giving us something we don’t deserve but listen to Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 6:2 I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.
Ephesians 2:8 tells us for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. A gift is received just by accepting it.
Dear Heavenly Father, I have to admit I do not fully understand this grace You speak of, but if this is true and all I have to do is admit that I am a sinner in need of a Savior than I ask You to forgive me and I put my trust in You. In Jesus Name, Amen
Invitation
Let us give God praise for who He is. God created everything that is visible and invisible. All things were created through Him and for Him. God existed before all things and in Him all things consist. (Colossians 1:16-17). God maintains the earth and the whole universe by the power of His word (Hebrews 1:3). I (Jesus) was there when he ordered the sea not to go beyond the borders he had set. I was there when he laid the earth's foundation. (Proverbs 8:29). God maintains the earth and the whole universe by the power of His Word. God who is all wonderful and all powerful loved us so much that He did not want us to perish and go to hell because of the disobedience of Adam and Eve that brought sin into the world, that He sent Jesus to come to the earth so that He would lay down His life for us and take upon Himself our sin and the punishment we deserve when He died on the cross. Jesus said, therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father. (John 10:17-18). Let us give God praise. God wants to save people so that they could live with Him for eternity but it is only His requirements that will bring us there. Since He is God and we are not and since He paid the price for our salvation we must come through His Son Jesus because Jesus is the only way, truth and life. God’s requirements are that we admit we are a sinner and that we need a Savior. He requires that we humble ourselves and ask Him to forgive us and then put all our trust in Him because we admit that He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him since He always lives to make intercession for them (Hebrews 7:25). Jesus is our intercessor who stood in our place to protect us from God’s wrath so that when God looks at us He sees Jesus. Come to Jesus today for now is the accepted time, behold now is the day of salvation.
PROPHETIC INSPIRATIONS
This Generation
February 18, 1992
This is an untoward, unrepentant generation, which has set their faces hard against me as flint rock. When my servants, the people of my Covenant, bring My Word to them it causes friction and ignites fire of controversy. However, I will have the last word, says the Lord, because My Word is established in the heavens and the earth. My precepts bring healing and restoration unto My Body the Church. Never in all the ages, has My Eternal Majesty been in such grand array, poised on the brink of the climax of time, when the mystery of all the ages shall be revealed. Behold the Marriage Supper of the Lamb is about to commence. Call your friends and relatives and neighbors and invite them to attend. Pray with all supplication that you will be worthy to escape the calamities which will befall the inhabitants of the earth. Woe unto those who have despised and rejected My plan of salvation and have trampled the blood of My Covenant under their feet, for if any shall fall on the Rock of my Salvation they shall be broken but if it falls on them, they shall be ground to pieces. Thus says the Lord God Almighty
