SLIDE ZONE MISSION STATEMENT:
The Slide Zone Project was founded in March of 2001, by Michelle Gussow, and Jeff Matheus. Slide Zone is dedicated to the promotion of the arts throughout the state of Indiana. It is our goal to support, encourage, and nurture the creative spirit of local artists, and bring a more vital arts & entertainment scene to Indiana. It is Slide Zone's goal to reach as many through the arts as possible

ABOUT MICHELLE GUSSOW:
Michelle Gussow is a singer, musician, writer, and artist manager. Michelle maintains her own career as folk singer and guitarist, as well as acting as the personal manager for a handful of Indiana-based musical artists. Michelle has also gained popularity as a writer, and her short stories have been enjoyed by readers around the globe. Michelle currently writes a column for the Jewish Post and Opinion. ABOUT JEFF MATHEUS:
Jeff Matheus is a poet and writer with two books of original poetry to his credit. Jeff has also contributed poetry, articles, and entertainment reviews for a variety of U.S. and International publications. In May of 1999 Jeff co-founded The Poetry Alliance of Indy along with fellow poet Ricardo Parra, and has helped to bring a more vital poetry scene to the state of Indiana. In 2003 Jeff became an active member of The Peace & Justice Comittee of his Church (The First Mennonite Church of Indianapolis). Through The Peace & Justice Committe, Jeff has dedicated himself to the work of peace, nonviolence, and war protest.
