BREWER FAMILY NEWS UPDATE (PAGE 2)
I know, you thought we were done and it ends here.
But there's good news for all of you seriously interested, family tree investigators.
I have done some additional research and there's some VERY INTERESTING stuff on the Brewer family in Missouri on the Internet.
Here's what your looking for.. info that predates and expands on Aunt Grace's, which is as far back as we have got so far.
Also, follow up on any Brewer's in MADISON, IRON OR REYNOLDS Counties in the 1880's.

Hi, I'm trying to find information on a William J.Brewer he won a "Metal of Honor" in the Civil War,, Charles Brewer was also in the Civil War and his name is on the " Gettysburg Wall, the reason I'm asking is to see if William J. Brewer has any relation to me in Maryland.
William J. Brewer born Aug 4, 1823 and died June 17, 1895.
Charles Brewer is a relative. My grandfather is Otho Brewer and his wife Flora( half Cherokee ) their sons Otho Jr. Stanley, and daughter Charlotte.
I never realized how hard this would be to find the connections if you can help or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it, and "Aunt Grace" sounds familiar I have heard my family speak of it before. My name is Timothy Paul Brewer son of Stanley Brewer and he is the son of Otho Brewer.

I found the following on familysearch.com
Jackson was born about 1839 in Mo. There was a Nicholas Brewer married in Iron County, Mo. this was his brother.
Their parents were Howell Nimrod Brewer b. abt. 1791 in Georgia.
Mother's name was Mary Louisa ( I do not know about her last name.)They were married about 1817.The two brothers may have been born in Madison Co., Mo.

Fascinating info! Do you have exactly which children belonged to Elizabeth Morris & which belonged to Mary Johnson?

My grandma helped some on this, but you really have to prod her...she remembers aunt Lucy & aunt Lulu, etc.

Tambra (Brewer) Noll, Orville and Margerett Brewer's beloved daughter passed away 4-3-02 in a St. Louis hospital just days after brain surgery.She was 40 years old. Funeral arrangements have been made at Horton and Wampler Funeral Home, 1 Federal Park Rd, Park Hills, MO 63601. Visitation will be Monday, April 8th from 9am-2pm with the funeral to follow at 2pm. Burial will be at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in St. Genevieve, MO. Any donations to help with funeral costs would be greatly appreciated and can be sent to the Horton and Wampler Funeral Home, address above. Tammy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
