The Prisoner ezekiel Mcgoohan dem dry bones
The book of Ezekiel and the Prisoner are 2 subjects which have intrigued myself since the 60s.
I don't remember viewing the final Prisoner episode in depth or completely till August 2004.This time I was determined.
I was immediately gripped by the central theme song Dem Dry Bones and pleased to see that the Prisoner in a deep sense draws on Ezekiel.
I've also briefly dipped into the mire of web pages on the series. This has prompted me to contribute some ideas based on intensive research of Ezekiel. I hope Prisoner fans and other researchers find them stimulating.
These ideas are based on recall of the episodes as I didn't record any and haven't bought the videos [yet].
Number One continually seeks to control all humanity through social engineeering.
Number 6 is the Spirit of Man.
Throughout history, prime representatives of the 6 spirit appear. Number One is made aware of them by its numbers on earth.
The task then is to convert 6s to consciously serve one as its leader on earth.
Ezekiel was a 6. He was a gifted individual, having a total recall memory [all senses].
He possessed one of the early manifestations of the modern mind, breaking through the bicameral barrier.
High in the priest/prophet hierarchy, he had access to restricted knowledge about the operations of 1 and possible impending catastrophism.
He was the Watchman of Israel with a wife and home in the capital
But he wanted to resign.
This couldn't be allowed.
After a deeply traumatic encounter with a manifestation of 1, Ezekiel is deposited in a house amongst a community of exiles.
He is kept Prisoner in his new home.
1 tries every trick to convert 6.
He tells 6 when his wife will die.By default/murder he kills his wife.
1 makes him eat a scroll [internal monitor]via wich he tries to control 6.
1 sends current 2s to guide 6.
He uses 6 and 2 biological warfare, scattering anthrax virus [hot coals]over a city.
6 is to be the theocratic throned leader of humanity.
Through the converted 6, 1 will resurrect humanity into a global community actively and consciously a tool of 1 in every way, forever.
