Coven Of The Rising Moon
Welcome to; Coven of the Rising Moon,
and I am its founder Macskyfather (Rev.Wesley .A. Tozer)
I founded this coven with a little help from my Mother
Juneann Gibbs in 1996 for the sole resson of helping others.
We were hoping that we would git as far as opening up a store.
her passing on to another realm, slowed us down but we are still
going, and pushing even harder . Thee other coven members are , Eddie
(troy) who has bin with us from thee beganing also who I owe alot of thanx too
. Heather my lovely wife, Stacy whom bore my 1st child (Hunter) ,
Vencent need I say more..., and a verry new blesing by the Gods and Goddess
Val, she will be a great strong women as she grows in this coven .
The coven it's self is a Atlantion baced coven,
I know some of u may think it is not true, then why are u here ? 90%
of the pepole that visit this sight are Pagan in some way or another .
and most Pagan beleave in differnt things so no one is right or worng ,
in that asspect thee only ones that are wong are the ones that think they are wright.
also if they bace thire system on lies not facts . Our system is baced on # 1 law that is
"To harm none but do what thou will." We are not evil we are good every day pepole
just like u .The picture of the Phymarid on the moon how did it git there? when? and whom put it there? and why?... Fact,
the pic is real. so it is real ok now what are the possabilatys that Atlantions put it thir? how? well pepole say that they were so ahead of thir time they even had flying divices so who's to say they did'nt have a space ship it is a logicle view point is it not? well anyway we do practic in (skyclad) the nude but it is not a bad thing it is not "porn" it is Art of the body being one with the earth. We were born nude we were not born with a blankit, that was wraped around us after we were born so if we needed it, we would have bin born with it.
thank you for coming to the sight i will add more soon and
this is a short list of tools that we use,
Name and a general interptaion of them;
ATHAME; (pronounced ah-thah-ma)
The athame is a double-edged ritual dagger used by the
individual for directing energy. It may also be used for
other astral tasks, such as cutting a doorway in the Circle.
The athame is dull, as it is never used to actually cut
anything on the physical plane. It is a tool of air in most
traditions.
BELL;
Bells have many uses in ritual. A clear, strong tone is used
to summon the elements, to call the God\dess, or as a
signal that something important is about to happen. It can
also be used to call for silence in the Circle. Find a bell
with a tone that vibrates 'in sync' with your own personal
vibration. Try out several bells. You'll know the right one
when you hear it. Sound is carried by air, therefore the bell
is a tool of air.
B.O.S.; (BOOK OF SHADOWS)
This is your own personal spellbook. In this, In here is where
you put spells, rituals, lore and anything else you want to
keep that is of a magickal nature. Traditionally, the BOS
was written entirely by hand and kept secret. in witch we
feel strongly about and are even debating on weather or not we should
put the B.O.S. on the Internet for everyone to see it .
To some of us it is a link to Juneann and to others it is something
to be shared by all .
from the Christian crusades and the burning times when being caught with a Book of
Shadows meant certain death. and some of us are still scared of that situation
BOLINE;
The boline is a knife with a curved blade. Unlike the
athame, the boline is kept sharp and is used to harvest
herbs, engrave on candles, cut cords, or other things that
the athame is unused for.
CANDLES;
There are many shapes, sizes and colors of
candles. There are as many uses for candles as there are
types of candles. Candles belong to the element of fire.
we can go into the many uses of a candle ,but for now,
I'll just include it on the list of tools
CAULDRON;
The omniscient cauldron! No self-respecting witch would
be without one, funny. Or so we are told. The cauldron is a water
tool, primarily, although I have seen people use it as a fire
pot. we believe the incense censor or even the Hibachi in
the backyard can be used other than the cauldron.
The cauldron is the symbol of abundance. All
good things came from cauldron. The cauldron
is used to represent water It is also
used as it was originally intended -- as a cooking pot! Use
the cauldron to brew up things you would use in ritual, the like
savory stew you would eat to ground after ritual, or
whatever magical food you have need of. Another great
use for a cauldron is a scrying tool. Fill the cauldron
partially full with water and gaze into it in a darkened room
with just a few candles lit.
we have an extra coffee pot that we call our tea pot this is also
considered a cauldron (Do not use your tea or coffee pot to make
poisons things it a separate utensil to do this in We call ours
" poison pot " so we know it is not eatable .
CHALICE;
There are as many styles of chalices as there are people
using them. I've seen ornate gold chalices embedded with
gemstones. I've also seen plain goblets with no
ornamentation. Chalices come in wood, metal, stone,
glass, clay earthenware, and many other materials. It's up
to the personal taste of the person using it. The chalice,
like the cauldron, is also a tool of water. Chalices can be
used in ritual with other people, or they can be used by
solitary practitioners. Any time you want to honor the
Goddess with a toast, use a chalice. The chalice may also
be placed on the altar as a symbol of the Goddess.
INCENSE;
Incense is a very powerful tool. The scent of certain
aromas has the power to alter your consciousness. The
burning of incense may trigger a trance like state, to
relax your orenergize with. The more flowery scents like
jasmine and lavender are sacred to the Goddess,
while the more earthy scents like patchouli
and oak moss are sacred to the God.
PENTAGRAM;
Is a symbol created some time in 5500 BC
The pentagram is a symbol of earth. It is basically a five
pointed star with one point up. There are several
interpretations of what each point means. The most
common interpretation is that the top point is Spirit, while
the other 4 points represent the 4 elements. The original Witches
Pentagram was Six pointed star that was created in 5600 BC it was called
"The Star Of David" witch was Stolen by the
JEWS in 300 BC That is A Fact !!!!!!
PENTACLE;
A pentacle is a pentagram with a circle around it and
usually worn as an amulet or protective jewelry.
SALT;
Salt, technically, is not a tool or a toy, but most altars have
a dish of salt on them, so I have included it here. Salt is
used as a representation of earth. It is also used to make the
Physical Circle around the circle
SWORD;
A sword is simply a large athame. Whereas an athame is a
tool used by an individual, the sword is usually used by the
High Priest or Priestess of a coven or group. It is usually
used to direct the energy of a group of people. It is also
used to cast the circle when a coven meets.
WAND;
A wand can be made from wood, copper, or other natural
conductive material. A wand is used to direct energy in
much the same way as the athame, with the added
advantage of the properties of the material it is made from.
For instance, a wand made of apple wood is perfect to use
in a spell to make yourself more lovable. A wand can be as
simple as an undecorated piece of wood, or as complex as
a glass tube wrapped in copper with gemstones inside of
the tube.
Ale & Mead;
Ale & mead are generally used during the sabbats and such
we do not however we use it in every rit that we do , we feel
that every day is some thing to be grateful for not just one or
two or ten but every single day As for what kind of Ale & Mead,
we tend to use home baked cookies and sparking grape juse
not wine and bread in witch case can dilude your thoughts
it is a great craft especially when you have children to entertain
Robe Of Stars;
Robe of stars is usually black witch symbolizes protection but can
come in any Color and stile 90% of the time it is home made as in
the fabric is bought and u sew on the symbols on it As well the Robe also
represent the Witch in all true forms.
And last but not least The Alter;
There are generally 3 type the 1st is a Stage Alter is ideal for the
solitary practitioner it is a layered the first shelf is about 6 inches deep
the next is three inches deep and the top is one inch deep it is a beautiful
disine if u want to hang an alter in front of a window .
the second is a stone or garden alter in witch is placed out side expecaly
when using holy or scraced ground playcing large stones five one for each point
The third alter is a Flat alter witch is usually placed in a room by it self being
the only piece of funiture The alter table is Usually made of Rear wood Do Not go
out chopping down rear threes go for walks in the woods dead trees that have fallen
down already or at a yard sale you will know it when you see it . when you
fide it make your alter out of that. place it in the middle of the room and all of your
other items around it
There are several other tools, but these are the
very basic tools. the ones that are used the most.
I will add more to this site soon ....
merry part untill we merry meet again. Blessed Be
