For those of you that go to Long Island, just be prepared to pay for tolls. I think it was the George Washington bridge I had to use to get to Long Island, it was a 6.00 toll. It wasn't really hard to find Oyster Bay. I was lucky to stay with my Aunt who had a gps system. That was a big help. There are signs that point the way to Sagamore Hill. After visiting President Roosevelt home I went and saw his grave. There are 26 steps leading to President Roosevelt grave. Since he was the 26th President. The parking lot for the cemetery is also used for the bird sanctuary. When you go to Sagamore Hill they will give you directions on how to get to the cemetery from the visitors center or you can follow the signs pointing the way to the bird scantuy.
