Praise For Him

It is not often that you can actually see the transformation made by God's grace and the power of His Son in the life's of strangers or people on the street.

My ministry has been so blessed, for over three years I have had a "street ministry" and have grown a small but conistent "congregation" whose growing graces is actually visible.

Now, the Lord has moved things to were I need to open real doors and I need the aid of all brothers and sisters in Christ who care for the "lost" and "outcast".

I am now appealing for support, both prayers and funding, toward a drop-in space for my ministry. The work is so great, that for safety and outreach fellowship, a physical location has become necessar.

I am hoping to raise the deposit and several months rent for a store front or accessible meeting space in a safe location in a poor neighborhood. I'll need to do alot of fix up with what I can afford. Then, too, I'll need to get(used/goodwill) furniture, telephone line and 24 message service, bibles and related books (tapes,vcr etc)for instructional and inspiration loan.

Ideally, I'd like to find a free or nearly free quality Christian webpage services to upgrade my page and to allow me to outreach over a wider area, particularly to college students.

My ministry is difficult in that I openly go into places where homosexual men may be found. I go to places where drug users and sellers are often loitering. I go to places where prostituion is common.

I bring the Word of hope and renewal.

I have, over the last three years, through His persistent grace, managed to bring souls out of misery and condemnation that may never have changed otherwise.

I do so one person, one friendly conversation at a time with the reassurance and certainty of His Word.

As yet, I am not a 501(c)3, nor have we named the ministry, (but that will work out in time.) Therefor, currently, I can not offer you anything but my thankful prayers.
