PORNOVORE SAVES THE BEST FOR FIRST
This is the website on the band called Pornovore. They have been around for about 2 years now. formed in late 2000, Pornovore took the indianapolis music scene by storm. Comprised of Tony Marsh on guitars, Jared Gilberts on the drums, Will Henry on the bass and vocals, and John Barnes doing lead vocals. were just getting started. Playing a mild range of shows, the band had no idea that the buzz around one of their first songs (a.k.a. Nothing Sacred) was taking affect, on a little radio recorded practice, no less. Noone knows quite how the song got a huge following in the four counties it got out to in the short month they were together, but it worked for them. Those events, plus the name, was good enough to het them banned from playing the town they live in, Martinsville, IN. Not coincidently, they got themselves banned in another town called Rushville, IN as well. Buzz is a good thing, and that is just what got them on the front page of the Martinsville Herald Times. After so some differences that made Jared leave the band, Will finally had no heart to play the music either. Now here it is 2003, and Pornovore is back with a vengance. Adding the guitar duties of Sean Milne, and the ungodly drumming capabilities of Thomas Wilson, and the infamous Redeyez on the bass, Pornovore has only sliced off a little of what they're capable of. With a new CD on the horizon, and a tentative date on the Cornstock Festival with Molly Hatchet, Pornovore still remain a highly regaurded band. Remember one thing. Be sure to tell all of your friends about Pornovore. Never forget, Pornovore always saves the best for first. Peace out, Thomas, Tony, Sean, John, and Redeyez.
