We shall quote from the Holy Quran published by the Oxford University Press (translation by A.J. Arberry, 1955) He also referred to ealier English Translations of Sale (1734), Rodwell (1861), Palmer (1880), and Pickthall (1930). We have also consulted Pickthall's English translation published by Kitab Bhavan, New Delhi, 1982. There is a slight difference in the numbering of verses in the translation by Arberry and Pickthall. There is also a slight difference in the language used by Pickthall and Arberry but the meanings are the same.
Extracts from THE HOLY QURAN
The governments of the western alliance are going to great lengths to assure Americans, Britons, Aussies and other gullible people around the world that this is a battle between good on the one side and evil on the other. This is not a war between Christianity and Islam, we're told, because we acknowledge the fact that Islam is a religion of peace. BULLSHIT! Islam is no better than Judaism or Christianity. It is a religion of hate, war and eternal suffering for anybody who doesn't believe the correct things to believe.
The only difference between Islam and the other two abominable religions is that Islam is younger. Islam is at the stage Judaism was at when it proudly boasted of slaughtering every man, woman, child and baby in Jericho, and Christianity was at during the Spanish Inquisition when it happily tortured and slaughtered millions of terrified people on suspicion of their being heretics. Islam isn't quite that despicable but it's teachings are just as ignorant, primitive and sick. Another thing, Muslims take the trouble to learn the Koran whereas most Jews and Christians are ignorant of the Bible.
So now we have the godfearing forces of righteousness waging war against the godfearing forces of righteousness. Both are going into battle against the satanic force of evil. What jolly fun! All I can say is, may the best side win! Because whatever happens from here-on in, if both sides end up nuking each other, gassing each other, destroying each other with chemical and biological weapons – god wins!
Fundamentalist Christians, Jews and Muslims will be dancing in the streets, ecstatic as the bombs rein down on "sinners". This is a prophesy being fulfilled. They – the righteous ones – will zoom up to heaven or plummet down to hell, depending on which god they believe in and which prophet got it right and which prophet got it wrong.
As for the rest of us, we deserve everything that's coming to us for being so blind and indescribably stupid as to allow these religious morons and monsters to run the show, to infiltrate out schools, to brainwash generations of children and to destroy the last vestiges of human intelligence. The bombs and the gas and the germs are coming. You may as well learn why you're going to die, but PLEASE, don't just blame Islam, look deeply into your own disgusting diabolical religion and pray to your filthy maggot-ridden god that your death will be quick and relatively painless – for you and for your children. Just before they die whisper in their ear, "In God we trust" and see if it helps.
For those with eyes to see, the real war is not between christians and muslims, the real war is between religionists and rationalists! It's an unfair battle, 99 against one. We have been saying for decades, The only way to defend the west is to attack the mind! We've failed. Religion wins. God wins! Please don't wake up now because it's already too late. Too late to do what we should have done hundreds of years ago – hang priests, rabbis and mullahs from the nearest lamp-posts. Too late now. Have a nice holocaust.

Answer: They are the believers who:
i. believe that Mohammed was the Prophet of God; that he was the best and the last of the Prophets sent by God; as such, there shall be no Prophet after Mohammed.
ii. believe that whatever was done and said by the Prophet Mohammed is the Command of God unto men on this earth for all time to come.
iii. who faithfully follow in their daily life the Commands of God as given through Prophet Mohammed and Holy Quran.

1. We will cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers... their lodging shall be the fire. (3.144)
2. Surely those who disbelieve in our signs – we shall certainly roast them at a fire; as often as their skins are wholly burned, we shall give them in exchange other skins, that they may taste the torment.. God is All-Mighty, All-Wise. (4.59)

9. When thy Lord was revealing to the angels, "I am with you; so confirm the believers. I shall cast into the unbelievers' hearts terror; so smite above the necks, and smite every finger of them!" (8.12)
10. Surely the worst of beasts in God's sight are the unbelievers who will not believe. (8.57)
11. O Prophet urge on thy believers to fight. If there be twenty of you, patient men, they will overcome two hundred; if there be a hundred of you, they will overcome a thousand unbelievers, for they are the people who understand not. (8.65)
12. It is not for any prophet to have prisoners until he make wide slaughter in the land. (8.68)
13. O believers, fight the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you a harshness. (9.125)
14. Cursed they shall be, and wherever they are come upon they shall be siezed and slaughtered all God's way. (33.62)
15. We shall let the unbelievers taste a terrible chastisment, and will recompense them with the worst of what they were working.

Introduction: The book was published in English in USA and Canada, in 1980, by Bantam Books, INC.(ISBN 0-553-14032-9), 125 pages, with an introduction by Clive Irving. The extracts were translated from Persian into French in 1979 and then into English in 1980.
3. Islam is the religion of those who struggle for truth and justice, of those who clamor for liberty and independence. It is the school of those who fight against colonialism. Moslems have no alternative, if they wish to correct the balance of society, and force those in power to confrm to the laws and principles of Islam, to an armed holy war against profane governments.
4. Holy war means the conquest of all non-Moslem territories. Such a war may well be declared after the formation of an Islamic government worthy of that name, at the direction of the Iman or under his order. It will then be the duty of every able-bodied adult male to volunteer for this war of conquest, the final aim of which is to put Koranic Law into power from one end of the earth to the other.
5. The Friday prayers were the means of mobilizing the people, of inspiring them to battle. The man who goes to war straight from the mosque is afraid of only one thing – God. Dying, poverty, and homelessness mean nothing to him; an army of men like that is a victorious army.
6. We have no recourse other than to overthrow all governments that do not rest on pure Islamic principles, and are thus corrupt and corrupting, and to tear down the traitorous, rotten, unjust, and tyrannical administrative systems that serve them. That is not only our duty in Iran, but it is also the duty of all Moslems in the world, to carry the Islamic political revolution to its final victory.
7. Europe (the West) is nothing but a collection of unjust dictatorships; all of humanity must strike these troublemakers with an iron hand if it wishes to regain its tranquility. If Islamic civilisation had governed the West, we would no longer have to put up with these barbaric goings-on unworthy even of wild animals.
8. The Islamic movement met its first saboteur in the Jewish people, who are the source of all anti-Islamic libels and intrigues current today.
10. All governments of the world rely on the power of their bayonets. We know of no monarch or republic in the world today which is based upon equity and reason; all maintain themselves in power only through oppression.
11. The army must be under the control of the clergy in order to be efficacious and useful.
12. We affirm that music engenders immorality, lust and licentiousness, and stifles courage, valour and the chivalrous spirit; it is forbidden by Koranic laws and must not be taught in the schools. Radio Teheran, by broadcasting Western, Oriental and Iranian music, plays a nefarious role by introducing immorality and licentiousness into respectable families.
13. When the imperialists, the traitorous and tyranical governers, the Jews, the Christians and the materialists have all gotten together to distort the truths of Islam and mislead the Molem peoples, it is more than ever our duty to carry out an active propaganda campaign.
18. If the enemy attacks the borders of an Islamic country, it is the sacred duty of all Moslems in the world to defend it by every means in their power, by giving of their wealth or of their persons. They need await no permission to fulfill this duty.
21. It is written that "the clergy rule the sultans". If the sultans are obedient to Islam, then they should also be obedient to the clergy; they should ask the clergy for laws and regulations and advice on how to apply them. In this way the clergy are the real leaders and power belongs to them, officially.
23. In certain cases deception is necessary for the maintenance of Islam and of religion in general; without it faith could not survive.
26. The person who governs the Moslem community must always have its interests at heart and not his own. This is why Islam has put so many people to death; to safeguard the interests of the Moslem community. Islam has obliterated many tribes because they were sources of corruption and harmful to the welfare of Moslems.
27. Moslems are forbidden to seek redress of their grievances from the executive or judiciary of improperly constituted governments.
30. You, young people of the new generation, try to think more clearly. Stop running towards science and its laws which have led so many among you to neglect your major reponsibilities! Come to the help of Islam! Save the Moslems!
48. There are eleven things which are impure: urine, excrement, sperm, bones, blood, dogs, pigs, non-Moslem men and women, wine, beer, and the sweat of the excrement-eating camel.
51. Every part of the body of a non-Moslem individual is impure, even the hair on his hand and his body hair, his nails and all the secretions of his body.
52. Wine and all other intoxicating beverages are impure, but opium and hashish are not.
54. One must avoid giving the Koran to an infidel; it is even recommended that it be forcibly taken away from him if he already has it in his hands.
61. A non-Moslem man or woman who becomes a convert to Islam automatically has a pure body and pure saliva, nasal secretions and perspiration.
123. Shaving one's face, whether with bladed razors or electric aparatus intended for the same purpose, is highly unacceptable.
124. It is absolutely forbidden to dissect the corpse of a Moslem, but the dissection of a non-Moslem corpse is permitted.
I dont agree with those who think that the conflict is simply between two religions, namely Christianity and Islam.... To me, the key conflict is between irrational blind faith and rational, logical minds.
