"Will Anyone Come to our Party?" 2M,4F-- strange things happen when an eccentric couple advertise for party guests, the idea of the party is to discuss obscure academic topics. This one act comedy, suitable for teenagers, is published by One Act Play depot http://oneactplays.net/playwrights.html

Other plays include:- "The Meeting" 4M,4F-- about the frustrations of a committee meeting- Anyone whohas served on a committee will empathize with this.


"A Quiet Sunday Morning" 3M,3F-- concerns a minister of religion who wishes to have a quiet day after his Sunday services. A whole army of circumstances ensure that does not happen.

"Aria for a Lamborghini" 3M, 3F- A very eccentric family has accumulated a vast fortune due to counterfeiting. A battle ensues for control, with a lot of bizarre death scenes.

The three above are all comedies.

"Two Old Men" 2M,3F-- concerns the plight of two old men in a retirement home-- one an optimist- the other a pessimist. This is a serious play concernig some of the problems of aging.

"King Prawn" 3M2F is a small play inspired by the republic referndum in Australia. It pokes fun at republican and monarchist.

"Capsicum and Litle Fishies" 4M3F concerns a man claiming to be an authority on capsicums becoming embroiled with a family of psychopaths. This is a black comedy.

"Calamari" 2M,2F-Two couples meet in a restaurant- the two women are work mates and it seems they've swapped their assignations.

"Weather Report" 4M,1F- Two people are waiting for dining companions- both of whom are on a flight delayed by bad weather.

"History of Mankind". A television crew are filming a low budget outine of historical events- budget and other constraints make it necessary to change history somewhat. It is not meant to be serious.

"It Looks Like a Sheep" 2M,1F- although it has been presented with 3F-concerns a scientist confronting a bizarre situation- an opportunity to escape is rejected with disastrous consequences. This is a black comedy.

"The Body in The Restaurant"3M,3F, and the body- won a competition for a play on a Sherlock Homes theme. It is a spoof.

Those are all one act plays-- there are full length plays--

"There's No Justice" 6M,4F- is about a highly successful businessman-- how he rose to eminence and about the people who were effected by him, how they try to bring him to "justice" yet in so doing expose their own weknesses. DRAMA

"There's Nothing Like a Real Fire"-4M,5F- is about a suburban neighbourhood barbecue- where a lot of prejudices and secrets are revealed. Some people have found this offensive but i feel it epresses sentiments which many people hold.

"We Don't Need the Oysters" is a farce style concerning a young man - known for his strict moral principles, attempting to organize an assignation-- but being frustrated by a sequence of interruptions.

"Out the Window"=6M4F-starts when a robber breaks unto an apartment which has already been ransacked. He avoids duiscovery by hiding out the window while numerous people come and go.

"The Curse of the Ancient Mummy" 3M 4F is about a theatre group doing a dress rehearsal before a play. One cast member has pulled out and there are seemingly unsolvable technical problems.

"Come on Little Fishie" 4M, 4F is an expanded version of "Capsicums and Little Fishies"


There is a ten minute two hander called "They Don't Write Parts for Old Ducks"-- two grand dames of the amateur stage reminiscing. This play has recently been performed in New York.

A longer version of this play has been written.

Another 10 minute play "Deserted Beach" concerns a meeting between an insane tramp and an intruder who seems to have arrived by chance.
