WATER GARDEN PLANT SALE

Greetings and welcome to my web site! Ever since i was a young girl i had loved to grow plants. My facination with water has always been part of me. I think i was in 6th grade and i built my first water feature in the woods near my parents home. It was a safe refuge for frogs and toads. I can remember making several trips to the library reading tons of books on ecology and water gardening. Years later my father and i finally moved from a city apartment to a nice house in the country. In our first year we started digging and moving in atleast 30 yards of soil, building mounds, and digging what will be a stream bed. The town i live in is notorious for sand and clay and i must say that there were enough bolders just below the grounds surface to build a mountain! lol. It took four years of back breaking work, for us to get it just the way we wanted it. Now its a 90 foot water garden with four pools, a connecting stream with water falls. Each year we expanded and for those of you whohave a water garden, im sure you can agree its never enough,lol. My hobby is something i cherish and it brings me much happiness!
I grow many water garden plants and perennials. Many of them i start from seed. I live in M.A. and my zone is zone 5. I have cold winters here and many of the plants i grow i have to take indoors for the winter. I try to leave as many hardy perennial plants out in the ponds or in my plant stand as room is limited in the house. Its not cheap to grow these plants in the house and after all is said and done i probably break even with the sale of plants. I dont consider myself a business, im just a person with a hobby whom occasionally has some plants to spare to sell here and there.
So with that in mind ... i dont always have plants available , such as in the winter months. Occasionally i will have a few tropicals to offer such as umbrella palms, australian jumping violets and so on. Usually in the mid spring through mid summer is when i have the majority of plants available. Below you will see a list of plants that i have to offer. As mentioned above, not all plants are available at times. In this web site you will see in the menu, a button for GALLERY and this button will contain SOME of the pictures of the plants that i have to offer on this site, as well as breif descriptions of that plant. The Plants that you see in the list with this sign %(percentage sign) will have a picture in the gallery! You will also see (BELOW) a list of the names of the plants available and a price list. Most of my plants are grown in Quart sized pots or larger. They are listed as such. However because this is a online site and the plants are to be shipped i sell them bare root, this saves a great deal of money for you the buyer on shipping. Most of the plants you see potted are about the size plant you will get. I sell good healthy, nice sized plants. I will never send a stick with a green leaf to you like most on line stores ect. I have a good Reputation on e bay and many of my customers are repeat customers! I Do not have guarantees on my plants, all plants that leave my home are worthy of sale and healthy. I can offer shipping insurance upon request per cost to you, the buyer. Any dammage done in shipping is out of my hands, as i pack the plants well. All plants are sent Via priority mail, unless im only sending seeds, in which will be sent bulk mail. I accept MONEY ORDERS and PAYPAL for payment and if you have proof that you are a repeat customer, i might accept personal checks! I tend to be shy with personal checks as i have been burned many times. There will be a fee to those who send a bounced check. PLANTS WILL NOT BE SENT UNTIL PAYMENT HAS CLEARED! Most plants will be sent on a monday or tuesday following the "cleared payment" has been met. MY List will be expanding in 2006! I plan on adding many other plants to my list!
