Pokemon Red Walkthrough
Hi yes this is a pokemon red version walktrough but its good it will tell you tricks and no gameshark codes. sorry I don't have it well it may take me a while to finish it will be well worth it when I'm done so ready get set read.

You start out in your house go to your pc there will be a potion there get it. Next walk out of your house and into the grass.Oak will come out stop you and bring you to the lab where your rival will be waiting. I am going to call him gary but you can call him whatever. then after a talk Oak will let you choose a pokemon the one on the left is Charmander middle Squrtle (forgive me if I misspell)and last but not least bulbasaur.
Bulbasaur= Beginner Squrtle=Intermeadiate Charmander=Advanced
you can choose who you want though it don't matter if you set your mind to it. get your pokemon and your Gary will pick your weakness

The Battle

Ok you have your Pokemon now its time to go. Well guess what Gary ain't letten you just yet, he wants to battle. Ready set go.In this example I will use Squrtle as the starting pokemon. in this battle you may want to use moves that don't hurt but may lower defence or attack. Or you may want to go all out and use only attacks that hurt its up to you.
After your battle if you won your pokemon grows a level and it also you win 175 poke$ that brings your $ to 3175$. After that leave and go out into the grass. I would advise against battling any pokemon just now I will tell you when you should. as you go along talk to the first person you see do so by hitting A when you walk up to them. He will give you a potion. keep going until you reach the town heal your pokemon if needed then go to the mart.the cashire will give you OAK's parsel go back to pallet give it to him he will give you and Gary a Pokedex he will explain all about it.
Go back to viridain city and buy 5 pokeballs. Go west and then you will see a narrow space go through it and then at the end there will a tree when you get to it press A there will be another potion. go down then west again you will find this patch of grass. Be sure not to go past this point untill I say so. go into this grass try to catch a level 4 nidoran Boy or girl but not both, level 4 ratatta and a level 5 spearow keep in mind thaese are suggestions but you should try to get 6 pokemon before you go to pewter city which will be later. Raise nidoran and ratatta to level 5 or 6 then go back east then north. Keep going north till you reach a house. go through it and you will be in viridian city. go west in the forest and stay there till you catch PIKACHU!!! it may take a while but be sur to catch it at level 5 you will also see an Itemball pick it up its a free POKEBALL! after you catch pikachu heal all pokemon if needed at pokemon center (Yes in Viridian city) go back to the forest wander around but don't leave unless its back to viridian train your pokemon on trainers and wild pokemon Kakunas give you more exp but dont catch them they stink you may want to catch weedle but raise him to level 12 he will evolve to kakuna I know I told you not to catch one but trust me on this and then Beedrill. raise all other pokemon to 9 also when 1 pokemon growes a level swich to another one to grow a level dont ever just raise 1 pokemon. now go back heal your level 9 and 12 pokemon and go to the nidoran grass now go past it and west more guess who's there Gary! you must battle his level 9 pigey and 8 starting pokemon!

B.was transported to viridian pokemon center
C.Lost half your money
D.All of the above

If you picked D your correct {Gary}{ >:-( } (me) ( Gary Gary hes our man if he can't do it "GREAT"!).
Ok you kicked his butt now what do you do ??? Well you go heal your pokemon, go through viridian forest and you are in pewter city you cant get out of here until you beat Brock the leader o f "PEWTER GYM" you may have to go to the forest again and train your pokemon to level 13 beedrill to 16go battle brock but you might want to battle the JR trainer first for EXP. brock has rock type pokemon they are weak against water and grass so charmanders out a luck here. pikachu nidoran ratatta spearow and beedrill are too the cant cut it
you win if not you know what happens if you won you get $ and a Tm you can use this one to teach a pokemon bide it is explosive for a pokemon who can take a blow you choose who but some pokemon cant learn certain moves and a pokemon can only have 4 moves at a time choose wisely.
ok you beat brock heal your pokemon and go east get any needed items at pokemarts and dont be afraid to catch new pokemon here and there.as I was saying go east you will meet a hord of new trainers rare and to go. battle 'em all and be sure to heal your pokemon when needed after all its free.also still be raising ur pokemon even stephen you should let the others catch up to beedrill now sinse hes is a fighting machine now.got through the trainers? good see a pokemon center ahead? good heal ur pokemon and dont buy that magicarp the person in the centers selling it is not a good pokemon it reaks.
by the way did you see a cave entrance?? well ur goin in. I will not tell you how to get through find it out ur self dont email me about this or any other maze in the game I hate them as it is.:-).While your in there train your pokemon on all the trainers. (HINT when you battle this guy with 2 fossils If you beat him you get one and don't toss it put it in you Pc + your almost out at that point.)
got out? good go east to ceruean city and to the pokemon center heal you (suggested level 16-20 but all evenly raised) pokemon. get out of the center and go north across a bridge and guess who's there? NO NOT SANTA CLAUSE. Gary and lets get ready to rummble beat him slash him dent in his head. GOOD JOB you beat the slimeball.
go to the pokemon center heal your worn out pokemon.go back to where you beat Gary.beat all the people on it (with plenty of pokemon center breaks I might add)go past it you will find your way till you reach
