Picture This is a rock band based in Romford, Essex, England. The band was formed in 1996 at Marshalls Park School, with the support of Mike Applewhite, Head of Music. The founding members were:

Steven Jones (drums, vocals)
Chris Maxey (guitar)
Derek Bournon (bass)
Michael Baker (guitar, vocals)

The band's first public appearance was at a football social held at Marshalls Park Upper School and organised by Brian Maxey, Chris's father. Lyndon Bournon, Derek's father, assisted Mike Applewhite with the PA system.

During the performance, Chris broke a string but carried on without batting an eyelid. All the boys played really well and sported dyed hair for the occasion.

In the summer of 1998, the Bournon family returned to Canada. The band had to find a replacement for Derek and chose Ben Mattock, another MPS student.

In the year 2000, Picture This are involved with a CD as part of the Havering Bands Project.

Derek has a couple of bands on the go in Manitoba; most recently, he has joined JFK, a Brandon-based punk band. He also plays sometimes with his parents in Breadline Shoes.
