Our Mission needs to be able to welcome and comfort not only "our" children but to be in a position to accept those seeking refuge. I expect their will also be a need to house more orphans than the 17 presently living at the Orphanage.
This disaster has touched the hearts of all of here and abroad.

"I was born in a Christian Family. But in my teen age, I was a drug
addict in the year 1979. My liver was not functioning well at one stage. Doctors lost hope about my life. So, I decided to commit suicide. Glory be to the Lord! For He had decided to save me. A Man of God met me and taught me about salvation and the Lord of Jesus. When I entered the prayer room, If felt a shock just like electricity and I met with the power of the God. At the moment, I found there was a great relief in my Body and Spirit. My life was changed. In the year of 1980, June 1st at 1 p.m., the Lord spoke to me, "I have called you My son, I will lead you, Come and do my ministry. Since I cannot disobey my Savior,I started to work for Him,full-time and took the Gospel to the villages and cities of all nations.
In 1983, I was ordained as a minister.
In 1990, the Lord gave me a vision for International Ministry. Now I have been traveling to many nations and give the Word of God to people followed with signs and wonders. Hundreds of people have been transformed by the Lord. Peniel Faith Church Trust is a non-profit Christian organization founded in 1981 and registered in 1989 as a Religious and Charitable Trust. Peniel Faith mission is based on Acts 10:38, Hebrews 13:16, Matt. 28:18-20, Acts 2:47, Isaiah 58:6-8.
On the one hand we want to spread the Gospel to the unreached parts of our country and plant new churches and edify the existing churches; on the other hand we want to help the poor, suffering the sick, widows, desitutes and the aged. Peniel Faith Mission also operates the following different ministries.....
Baptistisms & Evangelism
Millions and millions are yet to hear the gospel in India. We are
sending out teams with the gospel literature to unreached villages.
25 million is our goal to reach before the end of this decade. Harvest is plenty in India.

Take a couple of minutes to read about the orphanage and Rev.D.DEVASAGAYAM?s ministry to the Orphaned children in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
The Indian minister who shelters the orphans in the rural area is Rev. D. DEVASAGAYAM and his family. His ministry is church planting in both north and south India and to the orphans in India, a country with a population of over one billion people. Of that number, 80 percent are Hindus about 11 percent are Muslim, 6 percent are other religion and only about 3 percent are Christian. He is taking up the activity of helping these children and leading them to Christ.
He was battling in cancer but God done a great miracle to him. Now God is using him back in the ministry. Praise God!
He would like to help more children, but there are no funds.
PFM provides each child with nutritious food and three meals a day, clothing, shelter and education. Some of the children are Orphans and some of the children are semi-Orphans. Some of them come from poor background that cannot adequately meet their needs.
$5.00 per week,
$20.00 per month
$240.00 per year provides one Indian Child with hope, food, clothing, shelter, education and great vision of Jesus Christ.
Every child is also taught about Jesus Christ and the Christian life. At the home there is morning and evening worship for the children. Since most of the children come from a non-Christian background, they must start from a very simple level.
One of the greatest expenses for the Home is food and rent. For less than the cost of 1 meal eaten out in a restaurant in America , the orphans will be provided food, shelter, clothing and education for a month!
You, your Sunday school class or church or individual can help by sending donations or by sponsoring a child. I understand I am late in asking, but I would love to see Shoebox Christmas come to the PENIEL FAITH MISSION.
