PFLAG Jackson meetings are held once a month to provide support for individuals and families. If you are reading this newsletter for the first time, you may be overwhelmed by all of this. Please be reassured that at the meetings, NO ONE is expected to volunteer for any projects or events, and at no time will your name appear online or in print unless you want it to. Media are excluded from the meetings. Confidentiality is of highest priority. You do not have to speak or even give your name if you do not wish to.
We will devote the first part of each meeting to support in small groups. Educational programs or speakers will generally follow the support session. Activism/advocacy discussion will be held after the meeting, for those who wish to be involved.
