PEOPLE OF FAITH TO LOBBY LEGISLATURES FOR LGBT
INCLUSION EVERY SECOND TUESDAY OF THE MONTH
As part of our efforts to make sure the current legislature hears about the needs of LGBT people the Faith Action Network has teamed up with Triangle to mobilize people of faith to lobby their representatives. Every second Tuesday of the Month we're asking you to join us as progressive people of faith to lobby for the inclusion of sexual orientation and gender identity into the Elliot Larson Civil Rights Bill.
Please join us for our first session Tuesday February 8th at 9:30 a.m. at the Planned Parenthood Of Michigan office located at: 115 W. Allegan, Suite 500, Downtown Lansing - Kiddie Corner to the Capitol Bldg., Upstairs from Beaners Coffee Shop.
Remember to mark down the second Tuesday every month. We need your voice, as the religious right is out there every day lobbying against our community. We need to be vocal, please join us in our efforts on Feb 8th at 9:30.
