UU Church to offer Building Your Own Theology Clas
The UU Church of East Liberty, near Clarklake, Michigan, will offer a ten week adult education series entitled “Building Your Own Theology” Classes will be held on Thursdays, 7-9 p.m. for ten weeks starting February 3. The classes are free and open to the public, with class size limited to 20 people. To register for the class, call (517) 529-4221. Building Your Own Theology is a curriculum by the national Unitarian Universalist Association. The purpose of this program is to provide tools for building a personal theology based on the materials of individual life experiences. Rev. Cindy Landrum will co-lead the classes with UUCEL member Bob Lewis. Class sessions include: doing theology your religious odyssey varieties of liberal religious experience human nature ultimate reality history ethics as unenforceable obligations The Universalist Unitarian Church of East Liberty is located at 2231 Jefferson Road, Clarklake, mile West of US 127, South of Jackson.
