PFLAG DETROIT FAMILY REUNION
We are a support group for parents, families, and friends of gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual, questioning and same gender loving(glbtqsg)people. [gotta stay politically correct] (ha-ha) Everyone in the community is welcome.
This chapter of PFLAG was founded, primarily, to reach the parents of African American glbtqsg. Rarely do our African American people speak out on the issue of homosexuality. This is a safe space for parents and family to ask questions, any questions, about homosexuality.
We do this because we know you love your child and want to continue to understand, support, and love your child. The age of your child does not matter. 7, 17, or 57 ....Parents "discover" their child at a variety of ages.
Our goal is to keep families together.
Through a discussion group, we help you continue to love and support your child.
