Rain Dance Rocks! Here's a report on Rain Dance!
Rain Dace decks use Squirtle, Poke'mon Breeder, and Blastoise. The principle is if Blantoise gets out early, he can take many Basic Poke'mon right out. So, normally, decks use Computer Search, then Breeder, then Blastoise. Very many of them don't even have Wartortle! But I think Wartortle is almost as good as Blastoise! Just put in a few Doubl Colorless energies and use a Water Energy on Wartortle, then you've got 40 damage each turn with Bite! I think more people should make use of waiting time while they're using their strategy. Let's say your opponent Knocks Out Squirtle before you even get Breeder! There's one solution to that, though- Poke Ball.
More people should use Rain Dance in the first place, though!! No one understands its true power untill they agree with this. It makes sense... But now, in Modified format, with all these restrictions, these decks are impossible to play. But any deck can have a bad start, and two good decks will not make a quick game if they have good starts, anyway! Modified is annoying. I guess Wizards wants new decks played, but players are players, there are no "fans", so they should let the players play as they want! And the 15+ restriction... I guess that keeps kids with kids and adults with adults, but hey! Then you have smaller tournaments, fewer players, and less win-a-tournament-win-a-vacations! I'm not saying Wizards is mean, but they should let the Poke'mon card game go as it used to. It was more fun then when there weren't so many bad cards and nothing was restricted. There are still Standard tournaments, but... That's the whole problem...
