*-*-*POKEMON CARD GAME RULE CHANGE*-*-*

I AM NOT KIDDING! LOOK AT Pojo.com!
There has been a rule change! Now Poison stops Poke'mon Powers along with Sleep, Confusion, and Paralysis! In Neo 5, Burn will become a new attack effect and it will go along with Poison stopping Poke'mon Powers. That means you need to know the rule without the card saying it!

28) No more tables! And let's take a break from cards and look at the battle figures!!!

I like Houndour (pronounced HOUND-HOUR).
HoundOUR (Hey! Stop calling him houndoor 'cause he's not a door!!!) is my newest so far. He has Ember as his attack. It doesn't work that well. Well, the rest is up to you to find!
It's late. See (see?!) ya!

27)Tables Again...
The 3 Top Cards that Aren't Banned
Feraligatr & Evolutions Computer Search Blastoise
The colors (gold, silver, and bronze indicate which place the card takes.
GATR RULES!!! Feraligatr is such an amazing card because of its power and attack, which I have explained last report. Lapras goes good with it, and Articuno works... This card has a deck built around it!! Banned Card that woul Go Here- Sneasel Computer Search is one of the best Trainer cards in the game. It fits into any deck in any kind of format, and it is good for getting important cards! Blastoise is great already. A deck is already built around him whenever he is in your deck. Rain Dance! Rain Dance! Rain Dance Rules! Up to 60 second-turn damage (first turn-Squirtle second turn-Breeder to Blastoise, rain dance, 60 damage)! This card doesn't need explaining. It just falls into third place, because Electabuzz takes him right out. Though, Potions come in handy...

26)More Table Thingies... This time, it's on the types of decks and their stregnths and weaknesses.
The Three Types of Decks
Haymaker Stall Current Deck (Feraligatr)
This can tell you what decks to use in tournaments.
Okay... This is just the opposite of Stall. It tries to do as much damage as possible as quickly as possible. It uses Scytheer often. Due to Sneasel's ban, these decks haven't changed all that much. Good decks, but not much fun... They win quick, or they lose quick. Result: Quick Games. Good Against: Stalls, etc. Bad Against: Stronger Haymakers Just the opposite of Haymaker. These decks try to run the opponent out of cards while kepping damage off you. Not all thaat much fun because the game takes to long. Result= Long Games Good Against: Haymakers when you have all your Gold Berries or any deck that can't do big damage quick. Bad Against: Haymakers when they work right. Okay... First I'll have to tell you what makes Feraligatr such a good card. Feraligatr 120 HP Poke'mon Power: Downpour As often as you like during your turn you may discard one Water energy card attached to Feraligatr. This power stops working when Feraligatr is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed. or poisoned. Riptide (3 Water) 10+ This attack does 10 damage plus the number of Water energy cards in your discard pile. Then, shuffle all the Water energy cards from your Discard Pile into your deck. Weakness: Grass Resistance: Retreat Cost: 3 You only need some good Croconaw and Totodile and about 25 Water energy, and you've got a good deck!

25)The Three 4mats (how many mats do you need to clean your shoes on?!)
The Three Formats
Standard Modified Draft My Favorite
This can help you build your decks so that they work well in official touraments. Most tournaments these days use Modified.
A simple format. Any card is allowed. There's not much to say about it. Many cards are banned, and you have to be able to handle Feraligatr and Gengar! It changes alot! Some Banned Cards: Sneasel, Bill This is definitely not my favorite format!!! You open 6 packs and make a deck out of it. There's luck involved in Poke mon. Some people say too much luck is involved. Now look at this- 66 random cards and only 6 you can't use?! A 10-sided coin with 9 tails on it gives you a better chance of getting heads than this format gives you of getting a good deck. My favorite's Modified! More and more decks to see... No more tounament scenes when half 'a everybody's playin' Sneasel decks! That card's BROKEN!!!

24)Mr Mime Weakness/Resistance Chart!
Mr. Mime
Good Against(Poke'mon) Bad Against(Poke'mon) Good Against(Decks) Bad Against(Decks)
*Bold text indicates that Mr. Mime is really good against or really bad against that card or deck.
Scyther, Blastoise, Sneasel Gligar, Hitmonchan Old Haymakers, Rain Dances, New Haymakers, Stalls, *Muk(Poison) Decks

23)Here’s a report on Magby!
Magby’s Sputter is the #1 Ditto Smacker… 4 hits and bam!! A good way to see if a deck is a Ditto deck or other Poke’mon that uses Poke’mon Powers-themed deck, look for Poke’mon that go around them, like Ditto goes good with Gust Of Wind and Muk goes with Grimer (duh!) so you can beat em’ up!

Here’s a deck that beats everything!!! It took hours of thinking to come up with, but…

Baby Bonkers
Poke’mon 20
4 Cleffa (they’ll help you draw more cards!)
4 Elekid (hey, that Naughty Kick is good when you’ve got Baby Power!)
4 Iggilybuff (bye, bye Ditto and Slowking!)
4 Jiggilypuff (bedtime!)
4 Wiggilytuff (Do The Wave!)

Trainers 20
4 Bill (more cards)
4 Professor Oak (I’ve changed my mind… This card isn’t that bad after all…)
4 Defender (you can hardly hit me, let alone you probably can’t)
4 Sleep! (good night!)
4 Impostor Professor Oak’s Revenge (bang!)

Energy 20
4 Double Colorless (2 colorless?)
16 Whatever you want (you need it!)

This deck is designed to stall out your opponent while you’re building up your Wiggilytuff, then… Do The Wave!!

22)Hi, I’m back again. I have a good strategy to use!

After you build a deck, check it over to see that you have all the best cards that you can have. Do not put in cards that you cannot use, even though they may usually be good, like Devolution Spray when you have a deck with no evolving Poke’mon (Note: Devolution Spray isn’t one of the best cards ever, but it is good when playing against Energy Removal decks). If you cannot find good cards to put into your deck, I would advise trying a new theme in your deck. You need to choose something that you can build a good deck around as a theme. A good theme to use is Hitmonchan. You can then use other cards that help Hitmonchan, such as Hitmonlee, who can smack on the damage to the Defending Poke’mon while Hitmonchan powers up.

I’ll be back!

21)

New Deck

This is my newest deck!
First… Notes!

This deck should have cards that are very flexible, as soon as the opponent's deck type is determined; this deck’s strategy is determined with these cards:

Computer Search
Poke Ball
Energy Search

So, that makes…

Trainers (number undetermined)
4 Computer Search
4 Poke Ball
4 Energy Search

Now we need to see what strategies we should make.
How about a stall strategy?
So let's put in Likitung and Erika's Dratini, and the Trainers could get some Mary and Gust Of Wind.

That makes…

Poke'mon (number undetermined)
4 Likitung
4 Erika's Dratini

Trainers (undetermined)
--
--
--
2 Mary
2 Gust Of Wind

Next strategy… damage!

Instantly… We need Lapras! 4 of 'em! 4 Pluspower, too!

Poke’mon (# undetermined)
--
--
4 Lapras
Trainers (20)
--
--
--
--
--
4 Pluspower

Last type… Strategies Combined!

4 Cleffa for the Eeeeeeek and 4 Rocket Porygon for the Conversion… That’s good!

Poke'mon (20)
--
--
--
4 R Porygon
4 Cleffa

Deck Summary

Poke'mon (20)
4 J/BS2 Likitung
4 Erika’s Dratini
4 F Lapras
4 R Porygon
4 N1 Cleffa

Trainers (20)
4 Computer Search
4 Poke Ball
4 Energy Search
4 Mary
4 Gust Of Wind

Energy (20)
16 Waters
4 Double Colorless Energies

(--The next day...--)

Now, let’s see how we can revise this deck.
Just today, I went to Ikapu’s and played against him. He beat me badly!!! He was doing too much damage (and saying he flipped the coin wrong or the coin hit something every time he flipped tails until he got heads and even if it did hit something say it didn’t (I am not kidding!!!)) for my deck to withstand! I put in some Gold Berry so it would help cut down the damage, but I only had 1 spare Gold Berry and used Super Potions to fill in the 3 open slots. When I got home I changed the deck around BIG TIME so it looked like this:

Poke'mon (x19)
4 Growlithe (This should be 3 if you want what I really had, but I couldn’t find another)
3 Arcanine (This should be 4 if if you want what I really had, but I couldn’t find another)
2 Cleffa (Ikapu thinks these cards stink due to his rigged coin flips)
2 Wooper
4 Krabby
3 Kingler
1 Mr. Mime ("Stall" Out (that’s really funny sounding if you’ve ever played Super Monkey Ball))

Trainers (x17)
4 Gold Berry (you know)
4 PlusPower
4 Energy Search
2 Gust Of Wind (Wheewsh!! Out comes a damaged Poke’mon!)
2 Computer Search
2 Mary

Energy (x24)
4 Double Colorless Energies
10 Waters
10 Fires

20)Okay! This report's about Devolution Spray (and Devolution's a word, for those of you who haven't figured it out yet).
It's an interesting card, although... When would you need it? Hmm... You give this a second, too.

It took me a few minutes to figure it out, and even this doesn't make perfect sense, but let's say someone Super Energy Removaled your Venusaur, and now it had only 2 energies, so you couldn't attack, but your Venusaur had only 10 HP left and it was your last Poke'mon, but your opponent had a Murkrow as his last, and it only had 10 HP, and it had 2 Darks on it, so it could Feint Attack your Venusaur, and you'd lose the game if you didn't knock it out, and you'd win if you did by devolving (that's a word, too) your Venusaur into an Bulbasaur and using Leech Seed. Still, I wouldn't reccomend using it, I never did, and I never will, unless I come up with a deck that would put you in situations similar to the one above. See ya!

19)The Real Rise and Fall of the Great Blastoisian Empire
Here's a better deck!

Poke'mon
4 Rocket Oddish
4 Jungle Gloom
4 Rocket Grimer
4 Rocket Voltorb
4 Base Set Magnemite

Trainers
4 Energy Removal
4 Super Energy Removal
4 Rocket's Sneak Attack
4 Lass
4 Impostor Professor Oak

Energy
13 Grass
7 Electric

18)The Rise and Fall of the Blastoise Empire
I've come up with a deck to beat Blastoise decks completely!!!

Poke'mon
4 Rocket Oddish
4 Jungle Gloom
4 Rocket Grimer
4 Rocket Muk
4 Fossil Gastly

Trainers
4 Energy Removal
4 Super Energy Removal
4 Rocket's Sneak Attack
4 Lass
4 Impostor Professor Oak

Energy
15 Grass
5 Psycic

17)I'm back...
This time... Blastoise!

Blastoise is one of the more "expensive" cards in the game, and since you don't want a big dent from a coin and stuff like that to occur and ruin your card, you need card holders... 60 of 'em, because then you could see where Blastoise was in your deck, and you'd try to get him in your hand at the first turn by shuffling until he came to the top. So, okay, you need about a dollar of holders, but... Hey! That Rain Dance and Hydro Pump combination is broken!!! It's very suprising he's not banned. Yes, with these new rules, it's a little easier to beat because Poison+ Super Energy Removal= Useless Blastoise! And Poison is on stink cards(Rocket Oddish's Return?) and good cards! But not many good cards ;-(... But hey! You play Blastoise! Get him out with Poke'mon Breeder quick! Hey, next report is called "The Rise and Fall of the Blastoise Empire". Bye!

16)Hi! More reports...
A report on Murkrow.
Murkrow's Psycic resistance makes it resistant to Slowking, a card that has had its rise and fall in a single month. With the new rules, many people are using Poison decks (they were good before, now even better), so people can just get out their dumb Ekans and... Bamm! No more power for him. No retreat no weakness... 50 HP and "HaymakerDecks is not fully compatible with DarkEnergy Pro. Usage of cards in this deck may cause loss of cards in the deck. Press 'a' button to continue" I know you don't get the joke (unless you have a GameShark Pro and have tried it with a "not fully compatible game". I just mean that other decks can't use Dark Energy unless they
