"I am sad to announce that Lilley Emanuel, my wife for 48 years, passed away Dec 19,2010 at 1:59am at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Ga. She was recovering from a complex but routine surgerical procedure and doing well when massive infection set in. The private autopsy indicates she died of Severe Pneumonia. She had aspirated the gastrografin dye and stomach material into her lungs. The dye was used during a swallow test at Kennestone Hospital. The Surgeon chose not to call in specialist and diagnosed the infection as intestinal. This picture is one month before her surgery. How could they do this to her and me?

How weak and fruitless must be any words of mine to attempt to beguile us from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. I pray that our Heavenly Father may soothe the anguish of our bereavement and leave us only the cherished memory of the loved and lost. I know that flights of angels sang My Lilley to her rest, and I pray that God will help us find the peace that passes all understanding.
My daughters & son-in-laws will help me at some of the shows. I am cutting them down to about 1/3 of what Lilley & I did. Rachelle my oldest daughter will travel with me some of the time. Other times you will see my other daughter Melinda with me. Sometimes both will be me.
