Love Thyself
I'm a gay male living in Houston, Texas. I moved here from Florida and I miss the heat and my friends! I enjoy watching television, dancing to good music, talking to my friends, playing tennis, and meditating. Most guys insert some information about how often they go to the gym, but I think it suffices to say that I succumbed to the social pressure of gay culture long ago and have been working out ever since. I'm 24 and a scorpio - which means I like my secrets. Recently I've fallen for a few guys here in Houston...but alas the old adage seems to work all too well for me..."always the bridesmaid, never the bride". I have to say that the things that attract me to a guy the most are honesty, sensitivity, and an obvious attraction to me. You read it all the time, the advice that you must first love yourself before you can love another. Think of that advice what you will. I believe that loving myself is a long and arduous endeavor, since I am overly critical of everything I do. I think that I'm on a good working basis with myself and that I'll be able to explore and love myself more everyday. I'd like to get onto square one when it comes to loving another man.
