Like the killer shark sensing movement on the surface of the water, you are drawn towards the light.... You have the killer instinct. Suddenly you are no longer afraid. You are a child of the Loa, suckled at Erzulies breast and seduced by the Earth father Legba. You no longer fear your boss or those deadlines, the nagging partner or the feeling of low self esteem and worthlessness that so many of us succumb to in this world, forced to behave because everybody has forgotten how to play.
Who are the Loa? The Loa are those who are in reach.......Deities who reflect back to us our own failings and petty lives. The Loa are not asking for your worship....they are requesting your participation in life!
I am a medium and my name is Cougar Laing. I do not consider myself special or chosen. I am neither religious or fanatical. I do not perform circus tricks to enthral the convert, or seduce the scepticle! You will find no small box at the end of my article requesting your credit card details with ten easy ways to pay!
I talk to the dead and they talk to me. Sometimes they are angry but usually they remain in a perpetual state of frustration....waiting and watching. When I am spoken to it is usually a rushed and garbled affair but now it is different.
The Loa have acknowledged my gift and have put me in touch with 'HOUNGAN NIELL SUNNY GRANDE CHIEN' ( blessed is he who walks in the shadow of the Loa ). Blessed are the Houngan, spiritual priests of the Loa.
If you want to communicate with the Loa and incorporate them into your life, your future and your destiny.....then look no further as this is the Loa, This is the truth, this is the salvation, hope and respect that the West has lost....and must regain again!
My personal spirit guide is an African slave woman called Alice..... A Mambo priestess and teacher. In life and in another time she was and is HOUNGAN NIELL'S wife and lover. Through my work I have been able to bring these two lovers together again. They have reconnected in the physical, and I have been honoured that they have allowed me to experience their love for each other through spiritual possession and Vodou ritual.
The Loa are alive in our time and are here to teach us more about ourselves and those around us. All they ask in return is our belief in them and our personal commitment to restoring the inner life force and healing a Planet crippled with emotional pain and insecurity.
