PAULA'S PETS IN PASTELS
I have been drawing since I can remember, but it was my late father who encouraged me to take it further.
An artist himself, he would paint pictures of ships and some landscapes, mainly in acrylics and oils. So I guess you can say its in the blood.
So I carry the art on in his memory,and hope I can make him proud.
With my love for animals and art, I decided to combine the two, and my pastel paintings were born.
I work from a couple of photos that you supply, either scanned or sent by post. They are then returned with your finished picture.
I have painted pictures for people for wedding anniversarys, birthdays, weddings, even for people wanting an everlasting memory of their deceased pet.
The effect is totally unique and special, more so than that of a blown up photo, which, for the same size would be four times the cost of a pastel painting.
While painting your picture, if you have access to a computer I can send you "progress" pictures for you to check that it looks like you imagine. When you are happy with the result, I will send it on, along with your original photos.
I hope you will let me create a special piece of art for your wall.
