As most of you who know me...you know that I am working to get my paintings, drawings and photography, so it can be supporting me in my old age! Hehehe..I am getting closer!
This tattoo is a Memorial tattoo that represents the wearers 2 Grandfathers. Rather than an actual portrait, she chose things which she related to each of them and combined it into one tattoo.
These type of Memorial Tattoos always are an emotional experience and I believe that the spirit of the person is always right there with us...and guiding my hands. I am a Multi award winning, multi media artist and I started the original "One Eyed Jack's Tattoo...of Safford", Arizona in 1996 with the one and only Jack Armstrong, formerly known as the "World's Oldest Living Tattoo Artist" and Stooge! Jack himself named the shop because he was wearing a pirates patch on his bad eye at the time and thought it would be a catchy name!
I regret to announce that Jack passed on to the Happy Tattoo Shop in the Sky on Oct. 29, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am proud to help keep his name and legend alive through my work, like I promised Jack I would do. We will all miss him terribly.

I won 1st place for the first one I did "of Jack" on Jack at Hollywood Inslingers Ball! I won "Best Tattoo Of The Day" for Saturday 1997!
Then I did the next 16 portraits from that time in September '97 till March '98 (WHEW) and won "Best Senior Tattoo"...BOTH PEOPLE'S CHOICE AND ARTISTS CHOICE at the "National Tattoo Convention" in Los Angeles!
I can FIX YOUR UGLY TATTOO! Unfortunatly...nearly everyone who has a tattoo...has a bad one that could use some renewing...or totally covering up! This is one of our many specialties!
Or we can cover an ugly scar and turn it into a work of art to be proud of!
This one took so much out of me spiritually and psychically that I slept the next two days straight!
